In all seriousness, I reckon this will be a close game. Like I've said before, a draw will do me (disregard my post on the first page, got caught up in the post-win buzz on Monday) but with the run we're on and the confidence we've got atm, we have a good chance of winning.

Guthrie has been hopeless out wide, in the past. I wonder whether Pardew will change the formation to a 4-3-3, with Guthrie, Tiote and Cabaye in the middle, and Jonas, Best and Ba up front. Not sure how well that'd work, and the better alternative would probably be simply putting Marveaux in for Obertan in the usual formation. This is more than likely to happen.

The actual shirt is meant to be something "similar". I hope not.

Finally, much deserved Leon.

For me, I guess it is a matter of easing Ben Arfa into the side and possibly easing Best out. We are all aware of Ben Arfa's quality and that he should be in the side sooner rather than later. For now, I would continue to start Best and then, depending on the what's happening in the game, bring him (or even Ba) off for Ben Arfa (if we encounter, for example, another Wigan situation where attacking-wise, we're hardly doing anything). But on the other hand, the Ba-Best partnership seems to be going very well for us. They seem to be slowly developing an understanding (as you should with strike partnership) and that can only benefit the team imo and so (for now anyway) I wouldn't want to see it being broken up. Best's hold up play has been important for us so far and he does give his all in every game so it would be harsh to see him dropped from the side. I would say see how he does in the next couple of months or so, if there is a drop in form for whatever reason, then Ben Arfa should be given a chance.

It's an absolute shame for Obertan. He had a great game against Stoke and looked as if he might be turning a corner, this injury is the last thing he needed. I imagine Marveaux will play on Saturday so now it's his time to step up to the plate and shine I'm confident he will but we shall see. (Squad depth [on the wings anyway])
