My hatred for Liverpool has certainly escalated in the last year or so.

He's played right and left back for both U21's and senior teams. He's drew plaudits as a left back. Primarily he's a left back. Do you reckon Phillip Lahm has people tapping him on the shoulder every 30 seconds saying he should play right back? No. Right footed left back, like Lahm, Maldini, Irwin, etc etc it can be done.

Maybe his written English isn't up to scratch so wrote it in French first? Mistranslation perhaps? He also says on lebuteur that he was speaking to a journalist so he probably gave an interview to someone at the club in French and got someone to translate for him (but then again, his spoken English seems to be decent enough like!) I guess it is a case of being lost in translation.
