to remind us what a dodgy cowboy he is.

it more likely to be a consortium of millionaires. ie a number of them have put money into a pot, which is used to make investments. which is not good for the fans, as they will be after a return on their money (

hes a viduka type player, can hold the ball up brilliantly and make killer passes, the bloke has some fab assests, except his age it seems i didnt relaise he was that old ( Scored a fab goal or 2 in fa cup last season too. BIlliant dribble and finish. imo still a bargain if under 3m.

"Milner reminds me of a slightly better Keith Gillespie" he may be more of a professional than gillespie but he lacks most of gillespies atacking flair going forward. only game i recall milner from, was in scoring the second against man utd, in a 2-2 draw on new years day in 2007 i think it was. Was a quality goal. AM sure there are more, but hey arent springing to mind right now...

"Porto are interested in taking the 25-year-old on loan for a season with an option to buy him next summer." loan would be sensible. Then bring him back if we are promoted.

Queen Victoria, King Olav and the bizarre twist for Cromer FC

"I'm surprised that someone as astute as Alan Hansen is still touting him around. It's as simple as this - The type of player Owen is has no place in the modern game. The days of the 'poacher' are long gone. No team worth their salt can carry a poacher, because if they do, they're in effect a man down. All the top teams have an all round player as their centre forward, someone who can do it all, not just pop up in the right place at the right time. Who would you rather have in your team - a Didier Drogba type, who doesn't need the 'service' that Hansen alludes to, because he's perfectly capably of making his own goals, or Owen, an injury prone, slow striker, who can be taken care of with a man-marker? The only teams that will sign Owen are those whos manager still lives in the past. Unluckily for Owen, Bryan Robson and Peter Reid are no longer club manangers." interesting quote from beeb comments section.

Shepherd wrote part of the article in the NOTW and he is Ashley's mate isn't he the`re mates cos they both fat? am quite sure freddy would loathe ashley for "stealing his club"
-
dont mind shepherd back as long as he isnt the chairman. IF hes part of a consortium who are willing to invest money in the club, then we can afford a bit of his leeching from the club in about 5years time. DOnt want fat fred making decisons, he proved he hasnt got the ability for long term planning.
