SO what is the diff between the PL and championship? AM guessing its the way the tv deal is structured. NOt sure of the exact details. If this keeps more english clubs solvent then its might be a good plan. However gartside seems like a greedy twat, so its probably all designed to be big pay day ! It does seem tru that there are a number of clubs that are hovering between pl quality and champ struggleers, ie the bouncing clubs, like nufc ! DOnt think we are in position to scorn an idea like this atmo!!

england still dont play attactive football, but we are rarely beaten, only world class sides can beat us atmo. SHould qualify, but then we will fall flat as per normal. Nonone gonna beat spain anyway so its all academic....

"Fair assessment " not really, the EXACT problem with this current side is they are NOT scoring enough goals. We have always had weak defenses, but in past we scaored alot more goals. WE piss poor at both ends atmo.

having watched arshavin score that fab goal on motd, its looking slim for us. Half the arsenal midfield is in my fantasy team; ie they pretty damn good! it would be 4 but walcott and fabregas were injured! CAnt see what amazing strategy hughton will employ to stiflle them. I think the nusc have uncovered an inadvertant admission from llambias, that nufc, is purely a money making racket for ashley. Its rather cool, that hes now realise hes going to lose money, while they run the club into the ground. wow, cant believe how pc the numpties on here have become! The fact is that 75k is an odd amount. Even my house is worth more than that, and i live in a crappy pittown in sunny northumb! This is from an organisation that turns over MORE than 50m per year. 75k is a pitiful donation. The beer tab for wembley corporate is higher for every england game! Its an absolute peanuts donation.
