Was looking at table yesterday. in theory we could still get out of this. Look hard at hulls points/ gd. Then look at who they have to play. OUr run in is slightly easier. Assuming a loss against liverpool, then 3 draws, and hull could take our place. WOuld rely on them losing all their final 4 games, and assuming we dont get win against boro!! AFter liverpool another loss, and we virtually un saveable. Sadly cant see sunderland lossing all their final games, their strikers are in better form than us atmo. last game of season for us,(post relegation) they should send the current team on holiday, and have a invited 11. Just to show the current "crop of talent" what a real team plays like. MIxture of old timers and academy players, just to shure up the energy lvls. at least would give the fans something to watch!

think people should have sense to differentiate between someone who introduced bad(for the toon) tactics adn someone who can spot a talented player. KDag, must have a pretty good network in place after 30yrs+ in football. AM sure shearer knows him better than any of us! ALl academic till shearer stays next year anyway.
