It's a definate MUST WIN game but I'm shit scared even though it's against poor performing Hull. I wasn't too surprised to see us performing decent against ManU as we always do against bigger and better sides(apart from that one Liverpool game) but against lower sides we always manage to collapse somehow and the fact we have already played 3 times against Hull this season with 2 losses at home and 1 goal scored in total! It's no surprise that our central midfield is faling us time after time but against ManU Geremi for once did actually quite good. Unlike Butt he managed to hold up the ball and actually find a decent opening for a pass instead of just giving it away and just invite more pressure on our defence. We've got no pace nor brains in that area of play which is very much worrying as it's easily the most important part of the team in today's modern football! Since Sir Bobby...our managers have appreciated more effort and work rate than any other attribute. No doubt it's good for a midfielder to have some legs and effort but what's the point running around like headless chickens like one certain Mr.Smith and Mr.Butt Barton & Nolan is an ideal option from our current squad but as both are missing god I hope Guthrie will be back! Just think about it if we'll see Butt & Smith in the centre of the park and maybe even Ameobi starting as well...we'd be doomed! Under Allardyce we didn't have too many injuries if I remeber correct but I guess you've all seen that one video clip of his training routines so it's understandable why players managed to stay out of the physioroom but I guess they weren't that fit either

Geremi is shit slow but twice better than Butt anyway! Geremi hold up the ball well and waits for an opening and goes for an easy pass instead of just trying to hoof it upwards with no target whatsoever a la Butt style!
