It's pretty funny how Toon fans can turn their backs against a player who's been one of the absolute best in the ealier season... TBH...Parker can't handle the captaincy and with his spinning around I guess he's trying to do Makelele's and dictate the tempo but has got a wrong meaning for the word. No doubt that he's still an excellent player but there's something very wrong with his playing role and natural one this season...but that's easy to put on Roeder's and his tactical inability's fault!

Dyer once again proved himself pretty much useless on the wing against Watford. He should only be used as a supporting forward in place of Sibierski as we have way enough wingers in the squad already.

Apparently Dortmund wanted Hitzfeld to replace recently fired Bert Van Maarwijk but Hitzfeld turned down the offer. It seems that Hitzfeld won't take any risks with his reputation by going for big challenges at lower level clubs. So...if not Dortmund...surely not Newcastle then! If Martins was crap how would you descripe Sibs performance? Yep...Martins got too deep to the get ball but he had to do that as the midfield really seemed unable to deliver it. Le Sib hardly won a single header during the whole game and in general his performce was absolute crap.

They've conceded 4 goals all season. It's all about confidence! After his transfer from the Rangers he was one of the best players for us no doubt.

Since Carr got injured and was subbed off our defence looked pretty solid I think and Solano is a player who can build up the the play from the defence unlike anyone else there. Dyer and Zog with their pace brought a lot more for us into the game and a midfield of Zog-Emre-Dyer-Milner(Duff) would be worth of trying in the near future... Horrible performance as overall except the last few mins which we played great but hopefully it gave a little hint for Roeder considering the upcoming fixtures!

Surely we wouldn't need yet another midfielders but can't think of any decent "unknown" defensive talent...hmmm maybe Isaac Okoronkwo and Julius Aghahowa from Shakhtar Donetsk and Joseph Yobo but I guess he's not that unknown anymore!

I've been defending the lad since he arrived at SJP but the performance against Villa was just pathetic! Most of all he doesn't even look like wanting to fight for a place in the team. Maybe he's no being played at his preferred position but neither is Zoggy and he's not even a regular starter despite being our best player at the moment! I think we should let Luque go(if it's possible to get rid of him after the latest performances) and I'm even willing to take some loss on him. 5 million would be great under the current circumstances and for that price thre should a few clubs interested in Spain I guess. The money should be invested right away for a new right/left fullback. Preferably for a left back as Ramage or Taylor can do it on the right... BTW...Why on earth we are constantly being linked for a new centreback as the real problem are the fullbacks? And everyone knows that!

Actually I think they're quite equal. Reds could be better if they manage to sign Kuiyt eventually but the ranking does count many previous seasons as well...
