  1. Scared? Yep, PETRIFIED. However, no, it's just there wasn't a need for a thread dedicated to emailing nufc.co.uk.
  2. Not really in a position to buy a season ticket. Will continue to get to games this season, but as far as merchandise goes I've not bought a top or what not since the Robson reign. And back then I'd be getting at least the home and away tops a season, and whatever else I could stupidly waste my money on.

    Rooney

Amazing footballer, will be even better, a great, that however doesn't stop some of us English, and our media, overrating him.
  4. Want? Don't want to say, will just be judged as wanting a "big name manager". Will get? Shearer or Curbishley.
  5. He'll come good. Roeder, that is.
  6. Curbishley isn't the manager I hoped for, nor do I think he's a good manager, but he's clearly better than Roeder. And sadly, we're getting to the state were we're not going to be able to attract anyone with any ounce of proper quality. Last season was a decent chance, as it was the season we signed Owen, and all the hype that came with that, but we blew it in appointing Roeder. Now, we're just in decline, crowds dropping (and deservedly so), star signings playing like shite. We're going nowhere, and fast...
  7. Plenty of people were there who seem to be saying we're a joke. Strange, that.
  8. Because he's not getting them to perform. So fuck, we did better than normal today, it still was not good enough. If you're using today as a reason why he can't be faulted, then what about all the other gutless performances? I suppose it was the players' fault then? But today they perform, ever so slightly, so Glenn deserves a big pat on the back. He brought fucking Zog on with a minute to go. I didn't need to SEE the match, that alone proves how fucking clueless he is. If the result had stayed 0-0, not bringing him on until then would still have been incredible. Losing just makes it ten times worse. Plus, there's been plenty that were at the match, that still said we were a joke.
  9. Cheap option, but also probably thought a sizeable amount of the fans wanted him, enough to justify it. And to be fair, they did.
  10. It was a generalisation, stop it. Besides, the way Shepherd went on, he said we ALL wanted him. so he's just allowed to spout bollocks and besmirch everyone on the board? No, but I think it's been established by everyone that his figure was wrong.

  12. Anyway, here. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php/topic,18739.0.html A third, perhaps?

  14. I agree with this. That 20% made some ridiculous arguments mind.
  15. Of course it isn't. Lots of people foreseen this problem before Roeder got the job. Fucking disastrous appointment.
  16. bluedead.gif Pitiful. Why can't we just fucking score? Anyway... First-half diagnosis? Second-half diagnosis? Full-time diagnosis? Star man for United? Worst United player? Opposition comment? Toon-pros? Toon-cons? Post-match feelings?

    Chatroom.

Aye, the server is fucked just now.
  18. I doubt it. Regardless of the CL win, they've been making progress on the Houllier era, and they were happy to settle with him for a few seasons.
  19. I don't think it was a penalty, but I don't think it was a dive either. The player slid in at some rate, Gerrard DID avoid the tackle and that's what has knocked him off his feet. You can clearly see he stumbles, but he shouldn't have claimed for a penalty. Not every challenge has to result in a free-kick/penalty or a yellow for a dive.
