Have you even seen him play? True, let me ask a Portsmouth fan if he's any good then... oh wait...

26 years old and not a single match for a bottom Premiership club... well done... Let's give Butt a new 4 year contract while we're at it...

Nottingham Forest reject 'derisory' offer for James Perch
nufcmichael replied to a topic in Football
Just spoke to my colleague who is a Forest fan. He says Perch is brilliant, made his first team debut as 16/17 year old. -
Unlucky, son. Well, I ain't complaining
-
I don't want any defenders at all... I want a winger and maybe a striker and then wait until the summer with any other signings.
-
I don't get it, why do we need another central defender? Kadar has been good so far in the matches i've seen, and we have Tozer as well. Coloccini and Taylor are doing well together, why ruin that with Davies, who would obviously demand to play each week.

Aalborg in Denmark, but live in Stoke on Trent now.

The funeral has now taken place, so hopefully Peter is ready for the WBA game on saturday.

We're looking pretty desperate in the press, now apparantly after Michael O'Connor and Garry Hooper from Scunthorpe... -

Taken 2 days off from work to go to Newcastle for this match, we better win it... -
According to danish medias that's very unlikely...

Nottingham win, exactly why I wanted WBA to beat them last week. Now it's a 3 way battle instead of just us and WBA.

Sad news, all the best for you Peter, R.I.P your father.

Is Oba playing and Zidan for Egypt?

Scotland boss Craig Levein is chasing Newcastle United's England U21 striker Andy Carroll. Carroll who turned 21 last week, has already played for England at Under-19 and Under-21 level but he qualifies for Scotland through his gran and the beanpole striker is now on Levein's radar for the Euro 2012 qualifiers, says the Scottish Sun. The new Scotland gaffer will make a personal check on Carroll at St James' Park tomorrow night. Levein will travel south to watch Newcastle play Plymouth in their FA Cup replay. He could enlist Magpies No2 Colin Calderwood, a former Scotland cap, to help convince Carroll to make the switch. http://www.tribalfootball.com/scotland-boss-levein-targets-newcastle-striker-carroll-567521

I don't think Forest should be underestimated. Look at the last 3-4 seasons in the Premiership, Reading, Wigan, Hull, Stoke, Burnley... They have all been great at their first season in the Premier League. Still think tonight was a poor result for Newcastle, instead of just 2 teams up there, we now have 3...
