  1. wouldn't bother me. Can easily get the train from Abbey Wood (near where me Auntie lives) to Deptford (think thats near the New Den) I was thinkin' about their mad supporters, my mate is a Leeds fan and went there last season, he says it's absolutely madness down there...
  2. Stoke, Birmingham, Sheffield clubs, Wolves, Milton Keynes, Notts C, Nottm F, WBA, Aston Villa, Man Utd, Man City or Leeds... of course away... I live in Stoke, so an away game nearby would be nice... a shame Port Vale are out. Leeds away would be nice. Edit: Forgot Derby
  3. Funny, just as the criticism of Harewood were reaching new hights, he scores twice hehe... I see no reason at all to change this team for the next game against Watford, i've only seen the goals on sky and it looked good. Watford got beaten 3-0 at Palace and they seem like a poor away team, so we should win. 9 points the next 3 games? :celb:
  4. 97/200 Funny to see the players i've missed hehe
  5. Looking at those Preston fans in the corner when we scored was priceless

    Thierry Henry

I heard from a friend today that at the Maradona shirt from "The golden hand" match is hangin at the national football museum in Preston, maybe they should get Henry's shirt as well...
  7. Ameobi has scored just as many goals as Ranger and Carroll... Lovenkrands and Carroll please...
  8. I saw Watford - Sheff Wed a few weeks ago, Cleverly and Lansbury were really great. Don't they have Nathan Ellington as well?
  9. Harewood has been rubbish since he came, but today I actually think he was allright, he actually fought well even when he lost the ball and he looked strong when he had the ball. I wouldn't keep him though.

    Jonas Gutierrez

    Absolute rubbish today...
  11. Some very nice results today, QPR, Cardiff, Smoggies, Blackpool...
  12. Good sign, I like the contract. No need to keep him next season if he's shite
  13. Yeah that was some great days hehe, the atmosphere at O'Reillys was just amazing...
  14. Off topic, think I saw you guys in Frankfurt before that one, did you have a "Danish Mags" flag? Seem to remember starting a chant of "Denmark, Denmark, give us a song" in a pub and you guys having a quick meeting about what song you should sing Haha yeah that was us, I remember us singing: "Can you hear the geordies sing".... Great atmosphere at that pub hehe
  15. An average of 2650 away fans in the 8 away games this season. Considering that 2 of the games were on small stadiums in Blackpool and Scunthorpe, that's a very good average. Wolverhampton made the record last season with an average of 2800 away fans in the Championship.

    Away Fans

I've had some discussions lately with other danish Newcastle fans and also with some colleagues of mine who are fans of other teams. A couple of years ago I read an article that Newcastle had the highest average of away fans in the Premiership. Obviously we must have the highest average in the Championship now and maybe in all the english leagues. Does anyone know if there's a statistic somewhere showing this?
  17. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Newcastle-star-Shola-Ameobi-set-for-shock-World-Cup-call-up-article225267.html Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi could be in line for a shock World Cup call-up - with Nigeria. Ameobi, 28, has represented England at Under-21 level but is eligible to play for Nigeria after being born and spending the first six years of his life in the African country. Nigerian FA chiefs have tried to call him up in the past and Ameobi admits he would jump at the chance to represent the country at next summer’s World Cup and the African Nations Cup.
  18. Well congratulations Platini, first your team couldn't qualify and then you had to seed them and now when the end is near, the ref saves your pathetic country... Clearly a handball by Henry...
  19. Milton Keynes should have been 3-2 up now
  20. 3-0 Wales, crazy, would have thought Scotland could win that one
  21. A tip is Korea Republic to win in Denmark. Denmark is missing a lot of players and are generally week against teams with little fast players. They lost 1-2 at home to Chile in their last friendly.
