  1. With Cimber Air? I've flown with them twice and if I'm not mistaken the round trip has been close to 200 quid Depends when you order the tickets, my mates from Denmark has paid everything from 100 quid to 250 quid, but if you order 3-4 months ahead, you should have decent prices. Just took a random search 120 quid for a return flight in march.
  2. Copenhagen - Newcastle both ways, 3 nights at a hotel and a match ticket is about £250. I seriously doubt that Thomas Cook can do it any cheaper, probably just another travel agency selling football trips at double price...
  3. Dear Players of Newcastle United F.C... Last season....
  4. Tbf that is what I read pre-match that was why I was asking about him. Marcus Berg The Germans are short of strikers for their trip to Glasgow meaning there is extra pressure on the Swede who was the star of last summer's European U21 Championships. They bought him this summer from Groningen in Holland where he scored a S***load of goals, I think they paid a decent fee for him, he should be one for the future, has been injured during his first months in Germany though.
  5. The deal??? What is like You mean if he's good or ?
  6. Laudrup rejected Atletico this evening as they would only offer him a deal until the end of the season.
  7. I'd like to see you stay in that competition for as long as possible (stops you doing much in the league). Can't see us doing much in the league for another 3-4 weeks at least, KD. Until we get a few players back (Arteta and Jags), we'll be floating around mid-table. I saw Everton - Stoke at Goodison a couple of weeks ago, wasn't very impressive... I don't get why Moyes played 4-5-1 against a defensive team like Stoke...
  8. Hehe I'm going to Reebook on sunday, I wonder if Everton can rise against Bolton.
  9. Doubt that, they both live in Copenhagen. The oldest one Mads Laudrup plays for HB Køge in the Danish Premier Division and the youngest one plays for FC Nordsjælland, also in the danish Premier Division. Both of them live away from home. Michael has lived in Madrid since he was sacked in Moscow with his wife and daughter.
  10. Laudrup? He got sacked from Spartak in April... Obviously didn't then. I hadn't heard of his sacking, why was he sacked do you know? Well his time in Spartak weren't exactly a success and there were rumours of the players not respecting him and that director Valery Karpin was working against him. But I think spanish football suits him better, after all he did a decent job in Getafe.
  11. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5644530,00.html Newcastle caretaker manager Chris Hughton hopes to take over on a permanent basis after the weekend. The former Spurs assistant boss revealed earlier in the week that he had been offered the Magpies post, after acting as caretaker at St James' Park since 1st July, with ongoing talks expected to be concluded after Saturday's game against Doncaster. Newcastle have suffered two successive defeats in the Championship, at the hands of Nottingham Forest and Scunthorpe, but Hughton insists the double setback would have no influence on negotiations. "The objective at the start of the season was to get this club promotion, and that hasn't changed," he said. "Talks are ongoing, but from both parties' points of view, they want me to be the manager and I want to be the manager here." Hughton was also full of praise for sacked Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate, although he admitted that he was not surprised with his departure. "There are certainly no surprises in this game," he added. "Gareth is a manager who has served the club very, very well. He's a wonderful football person and I'm quite sure it will not be long before he is plying his trade back in management. "But there aren't too many surprises these days."
  12. Laudrup? He got sacked from Spartak in April...

  14. Don't know if you heard it, but bet365 is streaming the match for free, just in case you don't wanna pay the £4.
  15. This really sucks, i'm home in Denmark for christmas and i'm flying back to Manchester on the 26th of december in the morning, but there's no time to go to Stoke with my luggage if I have to be in Sheffield for the game start... Guess i'll have to leave the luggage in Denmark and then go to Denmark in january and get it back.
  16. I follow Aalborg in the danish league but I haven't seen many of SønderjyskE's games and even when i've seen them, I haven't paid any attention to Sølvi Ottesen, but obviously there must be something about him, he was linked to Celtic and Birmingham earlier.
  17. Hmm i'm wondering why young lads like Inman and Vukic doesn't get some chances in the first team, Rooney, Lennon and Milner was 16 when they got their Premiership debuts, so why not let Inman and Vukic play a part in The Championship, both sounds like huge talents.
  18. me too. Got 2,000 words due in for Friday, gonna have to finish it tomorrow. Hold the f***ing press conference now and don't distract me from this b****** assignment any more! Same here, have a s***** assignment for friday morning and i'm not even halfway through and i'm spending the whole day updating news pages about Newcastle....
