  1. SSN saying he's going to a premier league club.
  2. I'd feel more embarrassed singing whilst sat than standing u Just the Gallowgate tbh. Rest of the ground is pretty s**** other than Level 7 (all of it). Lower Leazes is better than the Gallowgate imo. I can see the lower Leazes all game and about 10 people stood up when 7k or so people in level 7 were singing stand up if you love the toon against West Brom. Yeah they dont like to stand up. I'll give you that. Cheers, fellas. Quite a few of the matches I see in the PL have more than one area standing. Some have smaller pockets of fans scattered around the ground standing, whilst White Hart Lane normally has beside the away fans and a bit on the far mainstand on their feet. Its normally the same in places like Old Trafford, Villa Park and Upton Park. There a few places that spring to mind. Despite SJP having a 'Singing section', there doesn't seem to be any other areas of the ground where people stand or sing loudly....which is a big shame. Maybe our home support gets more and more miserable every year? The way SJP has lots of tiers/blocks doesn't make it very standing friendly. Standing mainly occurs in 1 tier stands as the view isn't as good - you end up with a snowball effect of people standing to watch.

  5. Right lads, next game in Level 7 I'll expect everyone to give a warm round of applause to the nice folk from London who've made the journey up. Let's make sure our southern counterparts are made welcome Get a fucking grip man. You think other teams give a fuck about us? No. We don't give a fuck about them. It's football for fucks sake. Whilst I can't stand your support is fucking shit I think you're missing a main point as to why people sing it. Some people who go to matches enjoy the banter with away fans. Most the chants are shit but it's just trying to get that reaction, it gets a good atmosphere going and has 2 sets of fans trying to outsing eachother. Now I know most people here would prefer to be sat in the east stand with their blanket & flask and fair enough. Some people go to the match to have a sing song and others go to watch the football. At the end of the day it shouldn't really matter, we all support Newcastle.

    Nicky Papavasilou

He played for Ofi who are my second team. They hold him in very high regard and think he did well at Newcastle.
  7. Source? Someone who runs a bus to all the aways has been told by Northumbria police. Amanda or Lee? Amanda. Take a looks at FB if you want to see for yourself.

  9. The majority of Level 7 are f***ing illiterate anyway. ;D ;D (laughing at you, btw)
  10. How long have they been the black cats though? thye will tell you forever, but it only appears to have become popular in last few years. Sunderland's official nickname is The Black Cats. They have other nicknames, such as The Rokerites, Roker Men, the Light Brigade, the Miners and the Sols. After leaving Roker Park for the Stadium of Light in 1997, the club decided on a vote to settle the nickname for the last time. The Black Cats won the majority of the 11,000 votes, beating off other suggestions such as the Light Brigade, the Miners, the Sols and the Mackems. They had to take a vote... :colo:
  11. I'm pretty sure that's bollocks, they only sang 3 times anyway.

  15. Watford looked a canny outfit tbh. Second half was tense as fuck, cracking atmosphere. Nobody was expecting a second, went mental when it went in.
  16. So further up the page you're telling me that I'm wrong because no banners were confiscated, now you're telling me I'm wrong because JJ7 says they were. Brilliant. I'll say it again, If there is a policy now for the stewards to remove banners (as JJ7 has said they are) then it's more than likely as a direct consequence of the "Cockney Rapist" banner at the Peterborough game. Wrong, it's clear as day I was talking about the Leazes Corner. The point made is banners were being took in the Gallowgate regardless of the FCR banner. If there is a new policy then no, I doubt it was due to the FCR banner as again, surely they'd inforce such a rule in the area which made them create it in the first place?
