  1. They were poor, I can't remember watching them lose possession as much through sloppy passing as they did today. Torres looked as if he's been taking lessons from Cisse on how to play the off-side rule badly.
  2. They were poor, nothing we did made them pass to our players when they had plenty of time on the ball.

    Shola Ameobi

They both have positives and negatives, Shola can't move, Cisse can't get a shot on target.

    Shola Ameobi

His run just before he was taken off was as bad as you'll ever see from a player who isn't injured, he just stopped.
  5. I don't know how a team with Shola and Obertan in it can beat Chelsea but we did.
  6. Tiote did what he does well, Anita gives us a different dimension to our play and drives us forward, something Tiote can't do.
  7. Winning today was a brilliant result but it's got to be said that we were poor until Anita came on and changed the game. It's a good job Tiote went off injured and good job Chelsea were poor, regardless of the possession they must have had.

@nufcfans: AP on the win: “That was for Mike Ashley and all of the NUFC fans, because believe me, he’s a fan!” #CringeAbit #NUFC The blokes got no pride.

What's he been saying about Ashley?
  10. probably not otherwise how could clubs throughout the land take any banner they don't want? Obstruction of advertising, signs etc...holding a paper up or even just taking it in to the ground, na. it is a private business at the end of the day they can set whatever restrictions on whats allowed in that they feel like They cant.

Good result but I still hate the slimey twat.
  12. They can stop the banners, they can't stop people singing or protesting as long as it's not seen as offensive although I don't see how that can be achieved.
  13. What I miss most is standing and the atmosphere that it created, especially on a freezing day when everybody would jump up and down to keep warm. I miss being able to go out on a Friday night and deciding not to go home but to head south to wherever we were playing because you could pay on the gate. The daft thing is that we would go to every away game and only about half of those were planned, the others were spur of the moment when we were pissed (apart from the driver).
  14. It'll be much easier for them if they have the access that they had before the ban but I've seen nothing worth reading until now. I don't want to read what Shola or Taylor has to say after a defeat.
  15. The direct access will be virtually worthless anyway as they'll have enough access by attending games and they'll reproduce what other get from press conferences.
  16. What I was getting at is that they aren't taking a stance over money, they wouldn't be doing what they are currently doing if they weren't banned.
  17. So it has nothing to do with money and everything to do with being banned.
