The 5th place and manager of the year awards will keep him in demand for years.
It didn't do Burley much good:
Ipswich, Derby, Hearts, Southampton, Scotland, Palace, Apollon Limassol.
Ah well, at least I can now see why you think you have the right to lecture people on what they should do regarding supporting Newcastle, after all you've been going since 1983 and have experienced everything. I bet you can remember everything about the games you watched when you were 5, what a man.
It's just more of his shitty excuses that you're falling for.
We're not in the position we are because of who came in during January, we were in the shit before they arrived. He also has a role in where we buy from and who we buy so he's once again chatting shit.
We're his 5th club and he hasn't sustained anything at any of those clubs and I'm sure he would have had more say in transfers than he has here.
His record here reflects his past so we're not a one off which should be simply dismissed as one, whether he’s a bad manager or just a mediocre manager is splitting hairs and neither of us really need waste our time on trying to work out which one he is.
Simply put, he’s not good enough and should piss off and the sooner he goes the better.
Of course people in here are the minority, is that even relevant or in dispute?
Just because you will go back next season, no matter what, doesn't mean that everybody should. If Pardew is still here I don't think I'll go but I could change my mind over the next few months.
I don't have to justify that stance to anybody but myself. When the time comes I'll make a decision and I'll be comfortable with it. I'll be comfortable with it in the knowledge that I've seen this club relegated 3 times to date and kept on going to watch them and will watch them next season if we are relegated and not managed by Pardew. I'm unlikely to go if he's still here, no matter which division we're in.
