Nobody is using Ba to discredit anyone.

I'm not sure about Spurs where we were decent at times and had to nick a point in the end, I'll go with Stoke, Man U and Villa. The point is that the best you could come up with is 4 games out of 26 played in the league so that’s 1 good game every 6.5 games. The hoofball hasn't been all season as in every game but it has been done far too often and our game is rarely about possession. We've done well in games where we've pressed the opposition and forced them into mistakes, something which other teams have done to us more than we've done to them.

He's a one trick pony who has lucked himself into a job and for the first half of the season he lucked himself through games which we didn't deserve to get points from. We were getting points because Ba was getting goals from nothing when the service to him was poor yet he still managed to pull balls from behind him to bury when realistically he shouldn’t have had a chance. Our football has for much of the time been turgid dross but we’ve got away with it by going to places like QPR and lucking a draw. He’s lucked his way to getting a point at home against Spurs when he brought on the same stroller as he did yesterday but Stroller managed a goal. Our performances are now getting the kind of results that we deserved earlier in the season and instead of turning nothing performances into points, we’re starting to go the other way and turning fortunate positions into negative results. Our football under Pardew has been poor because that’s the way he likes to play football. We have good players who are watching the ball fly past them as the ball goes from back to front with one big hoof. The players who could control games are being bypassed for much of the game. The amount of money spent isn't a reflection on the type of players we've brought in. We've spent low and still managed to bring in quality because unlike Pardew, Carr is actually good at his job and we've benefited from that in as much as we have good players, even if the manager doesn't know how to get the best out of them. Can you list these good performances that you mention?

What has he done to be brilliant or good?

Cabaye won the ball and played it to Ba who flicked it and it came to Cisse who scored. Ryan Taylor was responsible for the first Wolves goal.

Are we really 6th? He must be brilliant.

I'm positive that we'll win but we have to be up for it and I'm positive that we all will and that we have the better players.
-
I'm confident we have the better players and I think the lift they get from the crowd will get us over any negative tactics.
-
It starts as soon as they reach St James'.
-
We'll win. The fans will be up for it and we'll lift the players.

What pisses me off as much as anything is that we have the best spine to a team that I can remember for years. Krul, Taylor when fit, Coloccini, Tiote, Cabaye, Ba and Cisse. Very few teams can match that. We have a very good keeper, a very good central defence, a very good central midfield and a very good central attack yet they play as if they don't know each other as we can't link up our game.

He was getting loads of stick after the match today, people were blaming the players but he was getting more stick than any individual player.
-
I don't have a problem with what he's done, it's over the top but it's also quite funny at the same time.
-
I agree with that, he talks shit and people take it all in.
-
We probably are ahead of the game but I don't think that was the plan, I just think the financial fair play has come at a good time for us.
-
Nobody can answer that, the negatives that Ashley brings will be a negative at every club soon because of the financial fair play.
-
They'll see how Birmingham have done and will think we can do better. They've just spent around £10 million on Cisse, I think that was like when we were going for promotion and brought in players to make sure we reached our target.
-
I'm not sure how having competition will improve him, it's not going to make him comfortable on the ball and that's his biggest weakness.
-
I hope we do go for an upgrade because when we have our best 11 on the field he's our weakest player. He makes some good blocks and he can put some good balls into the opposition box (no matter how hard some people try to say that he doesn't) but like has been said, he's poor when he's on the ball.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ashley and Llambias see our current position as being our level and do something at the end of the season if we finish too much lower than where we are now.
