I'm not saying that they will get rid of him, I still wouldn't be surprised if they did. It doesn't matter what our original target was for the season, I think they will see where we have been and could possibly see a position below where we are now as being failure.
I was being extreme, the point is, we should always want to do improve on something if it's a weakness and regardless of where we finish, I see Pardew as a weakness.
You'll find the same on Southampton forums, I checked them out when he came here and they said what we're saying now. No plan B is probably the most popular comment about him.
I didn't see anybody boo but I heard it. Should people not show emotions at a football match and react to situations? I didn't boo but I can understand why people felt that they had to do it.
I thought it was understandable, people pay to watch good football and reacted to a frustrating game. I knew they would boo as you could feel the frustration as the game went on.
I think most of the fans know we'll not see the best of Ben Arfa until he's given a run of games. What he does in training is bollocks anyway as he usually produces somethng in a game when played and that should be all that matters.
Our training must be shit, we had 2 weeks training before yesterday and I couldn't see what we'd done in that time to put right what was wrong against Spurs.
So he's better at containing than something which doesn't exist, that’s reassuring. At least a colostomy bag could have a use, unlike Ryan shitty Taylor.
Nothing particularly directed towards him, people were openly having a go but it wasn't anything he would hear. The last 20 or so minutes was a case of the crowd moaning every time a move broke down.
To be fair, the ooh's and aah's were directed at all of the players by that time. I hate it when people do that as it doesn't help the players, it's the same when people start whistling at the end, it just gets the players to panic.
