Add Swansea at home, the white flag would have been raised by that game and we would have lost it.
-
The cross looked to be going away from the keeper.
-
Add to that, what happens if Man City win the CL and Liverpool win the Europa? Do we have 7 teams in Europe next season?
-
What happens if Man City win the CL? Do we get an extra place in next seasons CL?

Arsenal should beat them reasonably easily today, I can't see the mackems getting anything more than a point and I don't even see that being likely. They could actually get a boost from our last 2 results, that's my biggest worry, they'll see what we've done against Man City and Liverpool and think they can do the same. Allardyce has been saying that the most important thing for them is to keep Arsenal out and I think everything they do will be built around that.

He'll not be a starter next season if we manage to stay up, he's simply not good enough. I'd still start him for the last 3 games if he's fit to play because it's too risky not to. We'll just have to put up with him and not expect too much.
-
Exactly, we'll win this because of the difference Rafa has made and I think we'll be much better than we were against Liverpool because we've got a full week between the games so we'll be refreshed. Games don't always go to the best teams or the best managers, in our situation it will because anything less in not good enough and we are confident enough to beat all but the best teams.

I'm an Arsenal fan for the duration of the game, I'm also hoping for a hamstring injury for Defoe.
-
That's what I meant, we get accused of hating our managers because they're not from around here.
-
Isn't it strange how we all hate managers because they're not Geordies yet not one of us have a bad word to say about Rafa.
-
I keep saying that, a bad boss can cause chaos.
-
We get those anyway, 17th will be seen as a good season for us.
-
Rafa would be mad to leave here, we've never won anything domestically since before most of us on here were born, yes, me included. He would be under absolutely no fan pressure and he'll be idolised. win something and he would never be let out of the north east again. I doubt he'll ever get a better job than this one in England and I think he'll be clever enough to realise that before the season is over.
-
Most of us would say that, most of us wouldn't have given it to him in the first place.
-
Ashley isn't likely to do anything daft, Charnley is the problem if we do go down and he's still here.

Ronaldo's a player that needs cuddles from a manager, and he's a "free spirit". Not a Rafa player at all. Gerrard was the same, which is why he didn't get along particularly well with Rafa. (Remember the soft b****** putting in a transfer request after Istanbul because he didn't feel valued enough?) Don't get me wrong: Rafa's not perfect. We lost/drew a lot of games we could have won by staying too controlled for too long in the game: Rafa didn't like to let go of the reins till the last few minutes. He also had a fetish for the squad and rotation over the first team, often preferring to buy two middling squad players instead of one first-rate first-team player. In those crazy days, when Chelsea and Man Utd hardly dropped a point all season, Rafa's rotation meant we were out of the race before the team could get into its groove (about November). That said, he sacked off the early-season rotation in his last season or two, and I haven't followed him closely since he left LFC. He might have eliminated his weaknesses. I'll settle for all of that and I think most others will.

No still got it, I changed my username. That's strange, I can still see it.
-
They shouldn't even be allowed into the same stadium.
-
Hopefully the teams in bold win.
-
Because they've got 30 and we've only got 30.
-
It is a bit one sided.
-
If we get the result he deserves we'll turn around the goal difference in this game alone. I absolutely hate this bastard and any bad that happens to him is fine with me. We are where we are today partly because of this twat.
-
It really wouldn't.
