He allowed something like £5 million to be spent on Ben Arfa who was here until the end of the season anyway. Why do that if we were struggling to raise cash for players? Why allow players to go out on loan if we were in that situation?
-
He played a part in the decision and he personally told us that Carroll wasn't leaving.
-
Name the players that we were after and how much they were going to cost.
-
Pardew had the transfer window to bring players in to cope with injuries, get your head out of the sand.
-
Exactly, nothing about this loan signing makes any sense.

I decided not to give him a chance as whatever I decide will have no impact on how he does or how long he lasts. If I think something is wrong then I'll say so and I actually thought that he looked like a good up and coming manager while he was at Reading. I know everybody claims they have a mate who supports some club or another but I did have a mate who was a West Ham fan. I got to understand how much he hated what Pardew was doing to his club. Virtually every Monday morning was the same shit about him. How he had good players who he was refusing to play because he hadn’t brought them to the club and he was doing that to the determent of the club. He was accused of putting his own ego before the good of the club by some of his own supporters. I also remembered how it was claimed that he’d lost the dressing room because of his ego and that seems to have been something which has followed him around at clubs. I can see the same thing happening here, our highly talked about team spirit seems to be going down the plug hole at an alarming rate of knots. I’m not going to support him while things he’s costing us points and doing things at the club which I believe is going to set us back, even if it isn’t at this time.

What is "broken radio syndrome"?

I agree with all of that. My problem though is that Hughton had deserved this season as long as we were safe, he wasn't given that. Pardew on the other hand is an opportunist who is probably here because of a friendship and not on merit. Even when we sacked Hughton I would have been happier if we’d brought in somebody like Jol who has a better track record than Pardew who is a poor manager in my opinion.

I've never seen anything to think that you're right, in fact I remember when his father died and he came back because we needed him.

He came into a club which was fairly settled, we’ve lost our best forward, we’ve got a player who is arguably our best defender refusing to sign a new contract and we have one of our best midfielders also refusing to sign a new contract. We’ve had a transfer window which saw us getting rid of 4 players who could have played a part for us. We brought in a player who is yet to kick a ball in anger. He was injured before we signed him and we brought in a forward who was released by a club who are playing in the 2nd division. The manager regularly goes to the press and tells the media things which are personal to our players and the team spirit look wrecked. Look at his time at other clubs and you’ll find people talking about him losing the dressing room, I wonder why? We’ve won once in our last 10 league and cup games with a manager who was supposed to be an upgrade. The form over our last 10 league and cup games is relegation form. If that's him doing an OK job then god help us if he does a bad one.

I take it that you can't back up your claim then.
-
You don't need to make a list, the transfer window is enough.
-
Lovenkrands is getting picked even though he has contributed nothing.
-
At least Lovenkrands turns up early for training.
-
I know who we played and the results.
-
Hughton had Man U, Man City once and both Chelsea and Arsenal twice.
-
Add cup games and I'm sure Hughton will be ahead.
-
Excellent, that might mean your falling off to sleep.

Some people knew he was a poor manager all along and only got the job because of a friendship, others act like ostriches.
