It could be argued that his policy of loaning out players and not replacing them cost us points.
-
You're right, he still scored against the others mentioned.
-
Couldn't score and won nowt.
-
Were his goals against the mackems, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa, Liverpool, Wolves, Bolton and West Ham cancelled out because he didn't score against the teams you've mentioned?
-
The players were demoralised after the sale so we've already suffered because of his loss and we have players questioning where the club is heading and whether we have any ambition. If we'd been able to bring him on yesterday instead of Shola we would have 3 points more than we have now because we had enough balls into the box for him to have made a difference.
-
I wish Enrique was close to being our biggest problem.
-
And that will have absolutely no positive effect on our play between January and May, another season written off, just like when we sold Cole. I'll put money on it that we don't do as well out of the Carroll sale as we did from the Cole sale.
-
At least Lovenkrands and Taylor turn up to training earlier than the starting time.
-
He was until we signed Ferdinand.
-
At times we've been like that, at other times we've failed to create chances. In our last two games we've had enough chances to win both games.
-
I haven't seen any stat's, I would think you were well into double figures for chances and you're always under pressure if you don't take them. For that reason I can understand how people can say that you were poor.
-
We're talking about this season, not 1999-2000. The same could have been said about us back then as could be said about you this season.
-
You were poor up front.
-
The fact that who finished highest at this stage of our first season back in the league says as much about how little you've moved on since we were relegated.
-
They were poor up front and that's why we didn't suffer our heaviest defeat of the season.
-
As it stands we need two forwards and a central midfielder who can walk into the team as first choices. After than we need cover for Simpson, Barton and Enrique. If any players from the first team or squad leave then they'll need to be replaced.
-
I'm sure you finishing above us will take away any memories of being humiliated on and off the pitch at St James'. Personally, I wouldn't accept being humiliated by you lot if it meant that we finished above you but with nothing to show for it.
-
Yes, you win a prize, well done.
-
Pardew hasn't only had one poor game but that has nothing to do with you complaining about knee-jerking when you were doing the same. I'm not trying to have a go at you for it, just pointing out that you were doing what you think others are doing.
-
The subject doesn't matter, he was complaining about knee-jerking and he was doing it himself yesterday and I've just pointed it out.
-
It's just as much a knee-jerk.

Have we played any better at home than we did against Villa and Sunderland? Regarding Carroll, Pardew sold him so that one actually goes against him.
