I didn't have a ticket; they let Newcastle fans pay on the gate. It was surreal having 3 sets of fans in the ground singing 3 different club songs. We had quite a few in the Roker also as they held up a massive Newcastle flag. Even the Gillingham fans were singing along with our songs. I didn’t intend to go to the match as I’d promised to go in to work but my boss let me go early as he was a Newcastle fan.
