I never rip into the kids as it could finish them before they've started. The kids have been given time at home, even when they weren't that good. Ramage and Pattison were given plenty of time to learn the game in the first team and they didn't set the world on fire.

Khizanishvili and Geremi are not the future of this club, one is here on loan and the other is almost certain to be away at the end of teh season so why give them games? To be fair to Khizanishvili, I thought he played well against QPR but he seems to have dropped off since that game so I don't know what is his true standard of play.

I agree about playing too many in the same game, I thought the same at the time. Ranger seems to have had the worse treatment even though he's still in the squad, unlike some of the other kids. I think LuaLua would do really well if given a few games because he's so direct, my only concern is that he might not get enough games to show what he can do.

Vuckic will only get experience when he plays, same goes for LuaLua. If these players aren't up to this division then then we've wasted a lot of effort for nothing. I do worry about the reaction of some of our fans when things aren't going too well but most people are supportive when it's a kid just starting out.

If LuaLua and Vukcic were that bad at least I'd have the satisfaction of knowing they were no worse than the ones they replaced and weren't walking out with £50k a week.

I would love to see us do something like that rather than play a team of cloggers. I would give that team a run of games to give them a chance to learn to work with each other, at least until Taylor was fit to return to the centre of defence.

Anybody buying us in the summer is throwing money down the drain because we'd have very little chance of staying up if promoted. Very few of our players are good enough to make an impact on the Premiership and we don't have a decent backroom either. If we were bought in the summer we'd have to virtually start with nothing. The time to take over would be now when something could be put in place to ease the transition to the Premiership rather then binning the whole setup.

I've seen the reserves a few times and Kadar didn't stand out. Hughton seems to make changes by his watch rather than how the game is going, I think it's the second game in a row that he's waited until we've had 5 minutes left before bringing on the 2nd substitute.

He shouldn't have started with Geremi who I was told was playing in the centre. He should have also changed things sooner to try and put Scunthorpe under more pressure. Bringing on two forwards with at least 30 minutes left rather than bringing on the second with less than 4 minutes of normal time to play might have made a bit of a difference.

It's always the fault of somebody else with him though.

What is that based on? The only thing I can think of is that it's based on league position alone and seems to not take into consideration that we've just dropped 10 our of 12 points and have played poorly most of the time. Compare the resources that Hughton has to any other manager in the division and you'll see that he's been dealt a pretty good hand. The Championship is a shit division and we should be doing better than we are. Hughton is shite, he doesn’t seem able to motivate the players and he hasn’t got a clue how to get the most out of what he’s got. He can’t pick a balanced side and he can’t change things around when we’re clearly struggling. He doesn’t know when to make a change and that is costing us so many points. The only thing going for him is that he seems to work under any conditions, conditions which most self respecting managers wouldn't work under. Apart from that, I'm struggling.

We've got no motivation or balance in our team. Most, if not all of our players would walk into any team in this league but not all together as we've got good individuals but they don't make a good team. We’ve been crying out for something different in midfield where we’ve usually played 4 cloggers yet Hughton thought that the way around that was to introduce Geremi, the slowest player on the planet. You would need a time lapse camera to prove he was actually moving. In fact, you’d need that type of camera to prove any of our midfield were moving.

He wouldn't be wrong.

Hurting Sports Direct is the only way to hurt him and I doubt the fans could do that.
