I'm sure the thing that Sir Bobby would have wanted more than anything is the £1 million in the bank account of his charity. I think that's better than a statue or a stand named after him because it's our way of helping him to help others and possibly save lives. He wanted to do this and everyone who contributed has helped him, he's achieved something none of us could have done. I really think that is the best possible legacy and is in fitting with his love of the area which is his home.

We haven't paid anything for Jonas yet as far as I'm aware but that could change early in the new year although I doubt it.

We made Villa look very ordinary tonight, they just didn't want the points as much as we did and they had nobody to match Jonas and Martins who won the game for us. The ball from Barton for the first is the kind of pass we see Butt trying and failing to make far too often, Barton had it inch perfect and Martins had all of the hard work still to do. I was shouting at Kinnear to make changes but have to give him credit, it was perfect tonight and bringing on a defender for a forward just shut the game up when we needed that clean sheet.

The transfer windows were shite, we should have let Dyer go for £4 million and Milner go for £6 million and should have paid £11 million for Jonas, we would have spent £21 million more and everybody would be happy. Where we've gone wrong is doing deals which were actually good for the club.

I think NUSC has learned as you've gone on, you've got to keep doing that. I understand where your starting position comes from and why it was formed, I really do hope you evolve because like I said earlier, we need a supporters club but it's got to be inclusive. I don't think you have managed that yet but you're much closer than when it was first started.
