Maybe they should have told him what they expected from him at the start instead of waiting so long, I'm basing that on the level of evidence in the public domain.

Of course they did but he had to have the bloke who could use those millions and give the whole area a lift as well as the club. I can't think of any other manager at that time who could have done better at this club.

I didn't say it was all Keegan's doing but they all had a better starting point because of where he got us to the first time he was here.

The same could have been said for almost every manager we've had for as long as I can remember.

It was started by somebody on here but was changed almost as soon as it was finished.

I agree about getting behind the lads but don't see what would have happened a year ago with Allerdyce has anything to do with it, it was Keegan and he's done enough for this club to have expected better treatment than a manager with no history at the club. If it wasn't for Keegan we wouldn't have been in the Premiership for the last 15 and a bit seasons.

Why does it matter?

The LMA will have a lawyer which will fight the case and it'll not cost Keegan a penny. Keegan may have resigned before the case was assessed so I wouldn't take his resignation as a sign that he will win a case if it comes to that.

I would say that any doubt about that was dispelled by everything which came out of the club until less than a week ago. Now when this kicked off they've decided to change what they've said for the last 7 1/2 months. The club have either lied for 7 1/2 months or they've lied for less than a week, either way they have no credibility.

It seems like such a pointless argument at the minute, or at least it should be.
