The Journal are doing a survey if anybody wants to fill it in. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=A1os14FXp9iRhwAc_2f1AApQ_3d_3d Edit, I hope it works because I can't get to it after filling it in. Does it go straight to a survey rather than The Journal icnewcastle page?
-
Is that another fact?
-
-
I didn't see it, where did it originate from?
-
Who said that? Was it the same people who have peddled out all of the facts?
-
The lies are part of the system because that's the way it's turned out, if they hadn't of lied and Keegan was responsible for everything we were made to believe then it would have worked. The lies are the problem, not the scouting/DoF system.
-
Fergie hasn't managed outside of the top division and Keegan has won a trophy, he did it in his second season with us. I'd love to see Fergie try to get a team away from the bottom of the second division and try to get them to within touching distance of the premiership title. I'm not trying to say that Keegan is better but he's not as bad as that record would suggest.
-
Perhaps some of that record was down to the previous manager?
-
He hasn't had time to do anything this time but I've seen better football than I've seen for years so he was heading in the right direction. I know we've had some good games since Sir Bobby left and before Keegan returned but we haven't had enough of them and we haven't had much progress during that time other than when Souness left the club but Roeder wasn't good enough to build on the feel good factor.
-
The lying has nothing to do with the system if I'm right in thinking HTT is on about the DOF, if he's not then I've picked it up wrong.
-
I'm surprised that you can't see a difference from reporting to the Chairman of the football club and reporting to somebody who is less qualified than Keegan. I've never tried to defend Keegan until last night, until last night I was giving him a lot of the blame. What has changed is that now I know that we've all been lied to and I now know that the job Keegan was given has changed in the last 3 months.
-
That doesn't mean that what the club was trying to do was wrong, it's the way that they've tried to do it where it falls down. If the scouts/DOF and the others reported to Keegan then it wouldn't have been a problem.
-
I just answered the best way that I could but I knew what you were getting at.
-
Keegan didn't take the job knowing that he was reporting to Wise, Baggio, you must have seen the quotes which have been highlighted regarding this.
-
If this had been done the way that it was first mentioned then it should have worked, in principal I think it's a good idea but the manager must be able to manage.
-
What's the chances of that happening anytime soon? Do you really think they'll be able to keep going long enough considering the depth of feeling? I don't know what others are seeing away from the forum but from what I've seen the feelings away from here are just as strong and in some cases stronger.
-
The same thing has been said before but teams always lose games and when they do everything will just come rushing back to the surface. For instance, Souness, Roeder, Allardyce, Shepherd. Things might go away temporarily but they'll be back.
-
I have every right to make a choice where and when I spend my money and I've made that choice, if it's petty then I can live with that. Keegan walking out isn't really the thing that's pushed me, it's the petty statement that our club have made which I know is as least partially lies so I have no reason to believe that more of it isn't just the same bullshit dressed up as fact.
-
I'll feel better knowing that I'm not adding to the fortune of somebody who has allowed our club to become a laughing stock again while either lying or allowing other to lie on his behalf.
-
I'll still buy nothing from inside the ground and we'll still not buy anything from anywhere owned by Ashley and we usually spend a fortune on Newcastle gear on the run up to Christmas, we usually buy from the club through mail order.
-
It might have been better for him if he did.
-
Dennis Wise falls into that category.
-
I think they'll have a very good chance of getting something in the paper.
-
I'd follow the lead of others rather than try to lead. I would guess that The Mag and True faith have more of a pull than here and they are looking to get something into the Chronicle so they will be reaching a bigger audience. I'm only guessing but I think .com will probably go along with these, even if only by reporting what they are doing. In that article they are saying that they will be involving others.

24 hours ago they had a chance, now, I doubt it.
