Looks like Rozehnal at left back.
-
He went off injured on Saturday. Did he? I hope KK hasn't lost faith in him. Not too fussed with the line up because i think we will cause them problems down their right.
-
From the interview i saw it seemed clear as day that Jewell just wants a better price.
-
Aye and its not as we dont have the coin, we proved that with Woody.
-
I have a feeling we will get Barnes TBH. We've made it clear we want him, i think we will up our bid within the next day and sneak it before the transfer window shuts. Agreeing the fee is always the one that takes time. Medical and contract won't take much time. I reckon 5/6m up front would be reasonable.

where is he quoed as saying he had no idea ? sure he says to ask mort when he returns on weds or thurs. So where is Mort? Involved in signings? Mort manages them lot. I.e he makes sure they are doing their jobs correctly.
-
A think Mort would be considered president. I think you just dont call them vice chairman.
-
The best quote i heard was by SSN "KK has been in the job for two weeks and there is already dissention at the club". That's even more baffling when you take into account that Wise hasn't even begun his job yet.
-
Exactly. They still managed to turn: Reporter: "What about the rumours linking Wise to a role at the club?" KK "Thats one for the chairman, i'm just triying to concentrate on the match" into KK "I know nothing at all, it was all done behind my back"

Mike Ashley is a billionaire. Therefore he probably knows how to run a business. However, i'm sure you are right and the roles within the club will be delegated willy nilly so that fracas occur and the club plummets into the abiss. Freddie Shepherd was a millionaire, not a billionaire did that make the difference? What a stupid response, how old are you exactly? Where did I say that Ashley didn't know how to run a business? Although, I can show you evidence of perfectly sensible successful business people making hashes of football clubs, which wasn't my point. Again, where did I say roles will be delegated willy nilly? Where did I say fracas will occur, where did I say the club will plummet into abyss? Either respond properly or don't at all. "I can't fathom DOF without some overlap of duties". Mike Ashley is a billionaire businessman. There is only one way to get there and that is to have an astute business mind, correct? That means ticking all the box's including how to sort out a buisness and getting people to run different departments. You may not be able to fathom it but Ashley will. Successful businessmen may appoint a manager that fails for whatever reason but you will not find many that don't have a working structure within their club. My comments were regarding the fact that alot of people on here are assuming because we may have appointed a DOF that the club will fail regardless. That was the reasoning behind my sarcastic rambling, it was not directed at you specifically. BTW "how old are you exactly" is not a way to automatically win an arguement it just belittles the person you are arguing with.

I hoping that after the Arsenal game/transfer window, Mort will sit down with SSN and explain the situation.

Just seen on SSN the report on the Newcastle/Wise situation and it has become highly apparent they either have their facts wrong or are deliberatley trying to upset the apple cart. Firstly, they mis represented Keegans words from yesterday to make it look as if he didn't know anything about the subject as apposed to not wanting to talk about the subject (and rightly so). They used fans opinions blatantley under the impression that it had all be down behind KK's back, which there is no evidence of. They also used Steve Curry (complete wanker), to suggest that a DOF always results in disputes. Considering that there has been no official statement from the club regarding his club role, i find it hard to believe that they automatically no what his job will be AND whether it was with KK's approval or not.

I prefer the chairman/dictatorship rule we had under freddy TBH. Sure we didn't have any sort of structure at the club or imput on what was going on but at least the system was simpler and we knew who to blame when it all went tits up.

It's one paper FFS. Are you really that stupid that you believe it is true, just because it's in a paper? The quotes dont even back up the story. All he is saying is that he doesnt know the details of it, not that he wasn't informed.
-
Have a look at Ameobis, he looks like Ronaldinho FFS.
-
Watch this thread go. One life line for all those transfer junkies to cling all of their life hopes on.
-
What is strange is that KK said he would back by thurs.
-
On teletext they are trying to suggest that he knew nothing about wise coming in. There are not quotes or anything, it's just the predictable media trying to make something out of nothing.
-
That sounds brilliant TBH. Hopefully more N'Zogbias and less Luques.
-
BBC shit stiring. He didnt say that he said that the chaiman will be back on tues or wed (duno where from, maybe transfer dealing) and that was a question for him to answer.
-
Exactly. It was blatantly a case of he knows about it but isn't sure of how far down the line they are. Just watch, within the next day KK will be signing Wise' praises, mark my words.
-
People must be off their rocker if they think that KK didn't know anything about this. It's more likely that Keegan is the one that put his name forward. When he said "thats one for the chairman, i'm concentrating on the arsenal game", why do people assume that he's in the dark on it. Personally i'm please to see the club trying to get a good structure going. For me it seems obvious that Mort is ticking one of his criteria by hireing Wise to look after the youth set up. Something which KK doesn't really do. So what if Wise is a little cunt, so is fergy and he's good at his job FFS.

A couple of decent games for Carr isn;t going to gloss over the fact that he has proven incapable in the vast majority of games he has played. If he proves me wrong, all the better, but i don't expect his "good" (i.e. not a shit as he used to be) form to continue too long, if i'm brutally honest. Enrique is going to be interesting, but its too early to say whether he'll be good enough or not (not helped by the fact that fucking Allardyce chose not to play him), but time will tell. I don't have an awful lot of time for Cacapa. You don't go from being captain to only playing a handful of games in one season by getting better, and he has looked very dubious most times i've seen him. Not like a Bramble or Boumsong, but not good enough. Rozenhal has been found out, for me. lightweight, ineffectual and clueless - three words i'd cast freely at him. HOWEVER, compared to recent years, our defence is far better, and now that we have a better manager than Allardyce, and therefore better tactics, i expect them to (a) play together, and (b) grow as a unit. I like Beye, Taylor, Faye and Enrique (with earlier-mentioned caveats) as a group, and genuinely hope they get time to prove themselves good enough. If they prove they are NOT, then I fully expect them to be criticised and dropped. If we are to be positive and not a complete negative cunt (moi?), then we also have to be honest when players are NOT good enough - and move away from the fallacy that signing or NUFC suddenly makes you great. It doesn't, and there is a trail of broken players behind us that prove it. Would not argue with any of that.

Travelling down from manc on the morning of the match. Could anyone tell me the best station to go to and way of getting to the ground. Would be better if it wasn't an early kick off like.
