Agree with above. Where as i would LOVE us to sign someone with a bit of spark in midfield, it's not essential until the summer. If anything it might be more benificial for Keegan to try and get the best out of what he's got so that he can have a real look at the problem areas and players he has. Our new managers priority was always going to have to be about what they get out of the exsiting squad.

I don't care how Keiron Dyer was rated by other people. Charles N'Zogbia has far more too his game. He can pass, cross, he's not afraid to take on players and shoot. However he is still very raw and needs to not only find a position for himself but fine tune his game too, i.e more assists and more goals from midfield. He has bright future but we've seen it all before up here.

I have always said that there are too many reasons why he shouldn't be assistant manager. 1. The media will pull the old "whos really in charge" line 2. It could cause conflict between Keegan and Shearer as they are both big personalities 3. Assistant manager often dont do well succeeding other people 4. If shearer was manager after a keegan failure then the media would say "whats he got that is different" It would suit all parties if shearer was reserve team coach because; 1. This gives him hands on tactical experiance 2. He can still learn from KK 3. He doesn't have involvement with the first team

Mind you, looking around the premiership he probably is the best right back in the league. There's only Sagna, Eboue and Neville that are as good.

How many times has he played a centre back? I can think of one game. Regardless if he played well, thats not a good enough arguement for moving argueabley one of our best players out of position. IMO it would make more sense to move one of them onto the right wing.

TBH the money thing doesn't bother me. Anelkas in it for the money and it doesn't stop him performing. It's the fact that i think Beye is class.

No way. Why are we intent on replacing our good players. Riise for Enrique, Chimbonda for Beye. This is plain ridiculas. Chimbondas a good player but he's no spring chicken and he's attitude is questionable to say the least.

Woodgate is a class player. Not because he is strong our quick but he has a great brain and that is something you never lose. However the fitness side does worry me. Any more than about 6.5 and it's too much.

Taylor doesn't make alot of mistakes man. Any he does makes he will only iron out with real experiance when he's played more regular seasons. Find it baffling that you can think he's anything other than at least a solid defender.

Cacapa's a very good footballer. Every now and then he seems to get caught out by pacey players but he's by far from poor and i would certainly not be embarrassed about having him in the squad. For me Faye and Taylor are very good.
