Think you're getting Barton mixed up with Pirlo I take it your one of these people who think Barton is a defensive midfielder.
-
We are the ones in the driving seat now. It's almost like a couple of days ago our clubs grown some balls from somewhere and thought "fuck this". Decided to bring in Smith, sort out Cacapa and throw in a couple of bids for Drago,Enrique and Baines. Then drag Dyers ugly arse back up and told him we wont accept a penny under ten million. If clubs want him they can up there bids otherwise we'l keep that bastard and Sam can sort him out.
-
Barton will do that job. Just you wait.
-
Youl get banned for that mate. Not that your wrong.

TBF Dyer on form is one of our most dangerous players but that was never the issue. He's only good when it suits him and we are all sick of it. I hope to gof that he's fucking off this summer.
-
I can only think that either the player/club has had a change of heart and all is forgotten and he's staying or we've had second thoughts on the price, maybe another club (spurs) has come in.
-
Clearly its a calculated descion by the Newcastle heirarchy, all will become clear in due course.
-
Everton have bid 11m for Lucho Gonzales? This would mean they have 16m to throw around, something doesn't add up.
-
Unless Villareal wanted him........ his whole family can fuck off over there.
-
What if, in an extrodinary turn of events we have had a bigger offer form spurs and sent him packing in their direction instead. I would love it if we made more money, pissing off Dyer in teh process. Thank f*** it wasn't the medical is all i can say.

can u translate this for us mate? It also says he is already on his way to england.

We like inviting players to the ground on matchday, just kind of seals the deal. Lets hope we get a decent crowd.
-
I don't believe a word of this Baines stuff BTW. These days i'm just reading the ronnie and expecting the opposite.
-
Where have all the blokes gone?
-
He looks like he will get on well with Alan Smith.
-
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Na, actually his performances have improved but it will be interesting to see how he can keep it up for. My guess is not for long TBH. Sam certainly won't be taking any chances.
-
Must be the one that was reported earlier. Looks like he was setting off for england by that clip.
-
TBH the premierleague has never really been blessed with great right backs. We've had a few good ones down the years like Neville and Co but they are few and far between. Richards is about the only one that would fit the criteria for me, after that we would be looking abroad...... that's where Sam comes in. We aren't desperate though.
-
Time will tell what Sam does. I don't think any of the old guard will play all season anyway so Taylor will get his chance in the middle.
-
He has a lot to learn, I'd agree. This is why we'be brought in Cacapa (vastly experienced) and Rozenhal (noted for his calmness on the field) to aid his development. With one of thse two organising the defence it will leave Taylor to be the all-action defender he seems destined to be. We've got a fantastic young CB prospect on our hands, and a hometown boy to boot, I just don't see how he won't be made the centerpiece of our defence. Can'tt seee Taylor learning a great deal as a CB by being stranded at full-back. I agree that Taylor will learn more at centre back alongside one of them but we also have to make sure we are not risking the team. I don't see Taylor as error prone but he's far more likely to make errors than a combination of two experianced players. He will learn alot playing right back (which is less of a risk), from the bench and in training. For the first time in his career he could be surrounded in blokes who know the role inside out and regardless of whether he's playing centre half on the pitch he will learn form them IMO. However, if Taylor is chosen alongside one of the above i will be happy anyway. I'm just stating what i'd prefer and what i think Sam will do.
-
Better than the bench which is where he would be if we signed Dragutinovic. Taylor will be our first choice CB when fit, IMO. More likely Drago will find himself on the bench tbh. Even though he's a better player and Taylor is still prone to errors? If anything playing Taylor at right back is the sensible option, he's done well when playing there for both us and the England under 21's, he fits in with what Allardyce has said about playing big defenders and is a safer option that Carr, it also gets the lad games on a regular basis without the odd error he's prone to making costing us as much. Unless we sign a new right back then Taylor should play there IMO, we'll already have a good pool of Centre backs to choose from in Rozenhal, Casapa and Dragutinovic. I agree with this. The whole "playing him at right back will halt his progress" is a fabricated myth in my eyes. I believe it will do him the world of good, it didn't harm Carragher or Toure.
-
Regardless of what team i would play, i'm convinced due to Allardyce's history and the players that he has brought in that Taylor is either going to be played at right back or isn't going to be first choice centre back. The reason for this is because Big Sam would prefer to rely on two more experianced players, such as Cacapa, Drago or Rozehnal. Taylor was the best of our defenders last year and is obviously a great prospect for the future but the lad has a heluva lot to learn and i believe Allardyce has realised this.
-
Will you shoot big sam when he does it?
-
I agree. I'm looking forward to seeing how we try and frustrate Bolton on the first day of the season. I think it could be our biggest test and biggest indicator of how the squads doing.
-
Hope to god that the lad passes a medical. He will be the single most important signing of the summer.
