Learning from champions from the past.... you just need to be in the mix come the final 3 months. As long as we are within 6 points of CL, I will fancy us to put a run together at the back end of the season. We need the congestion and injuries to ease. I suspect we might get into the FA Cup final and none of us will be even talking about the league come May.

I just keep thinking about Mick Lowes.
-
That yellow one is an absolute belter.
-
And this can't be stressed enough but I fucking love Antony Gordon. Remember when he was too childish to start at Everton last season? The prodigal son returns.
-
Don't think anyone is debating to be honest.
-
Sue Smith is really decent. Not sure I can stomach Sanderson. There was a women commentator/analyst's the other day saying the men's game should subsidise the women's game mind. I draw the line there. It also doesn't do them any favours to go down that route.
-
Yep, I was listening to an "ex pro" talking about Brailsford potentially going into Man United as director and they referred to him as not a "footballing person", as if you need to be an ex footballer to have a decent grasp on the game. Give me an Allcott over a shite ex footballer every day of the week. Absolutely no issue with women commentators, so long as they know their onions and as has been mentioned, loads of blokes who know fuck all.

What I noticed was defenders wanting the ball off the keeper, rather than hiding. Shaw shouldn't be centre back like, him and Garnacho are the one constant positive partnership. Them two should be on that left every game from now.

Think Joey has gone full on Trump now. Give it a week and he will being interviewed by Piers Morgan.

@brummie pleased for you mate. Got a team to be proud of. Lets hope the toon and Villa can push each other as far as possible. @Froggy I'm guessing yesterday was as good a performance as you've had this season? Chelsea looked shocking on the ball. Can only beat what's in front of you. Man United need to to sort out that space between Amrabat and McTominay in midfield but at least both players bring something to your midfield.

This is true too mind. Some of the best presenters in the game are women too. Gabby Logan, Laura Woods etc. It'd almost offensive that they need to wheel out fucking Robbie Savage alongside these morons.
-
this on the other hand is touched.... It reminds me of Harry Enfield "know your limits".
-
What has he said that's wrong here? He's literally said he loves the rise of the women's game.
-
Just being able to beat Liverpool would go some way.... Feel like we can't beat them cunts. I bet half of Howes losses have come to Liverpool.
-
"Rotate" With fucking what?
-
My gut instinct is that Ramsdale has Howe/Ashworth written all over them.
-
Which is basically an Allison/Ederson? That's a needle in a haystack. I'm not disagreeing mind.
-
See above. Why on earth would Brentford loan on out their keeper?
-
Doesn't work like that though. There was no sense in us loaning Dubravka to Man Utd but it happened. There's a school of thought that football clubs shouldn't deny transfers of players who aren't getting game time and if a club refuses to allow a player to leave for more football, it can damage that clubs reputation. If Ramsdale were to go to Edu and say, "I'd like to play for Newcastle", it's very hard for a club to at least not hear a player out, when they aren't first choice. They might say, "wait until the summer" or something but it puts massive pressure on the club. Ramsdales Arsenal days are numbered, we all know that.
-
I'm leaning towards a move for Ramsdale in January. Just to be clear, I don't think there's a massive amount between Ramsdale and Pope. I think Pope is probably better aerially and has more experience but what Ramsdale has on his side is youth. Was Pope as good as Ramsdale at 25? Hes a baby in goalkeeping terms and I'd be keen to see what our coaching would do for him. If and it's a big if, we could get Ramsdale on loan from Arsenal, we could see whether he's worth a long term move. At worst, he's a better keeper than Dubravka and it would be a good short term fix.
-
25th minute mark for you content whores.
-
25th minute mark, they get onto Popes injury and Ramsdale etc. I thought this was outstanding.
-
I have it fairly clear from here on out.... 1st, 2nd and 3rd City, Liverpool and Arsenal in any order. 4th 5th and 6th Us, Villa and Spurs in any order.

Got this feeling Isak has another barnstorming game against them. Reckon they will be shit scared of him.
