The keeper didn't want to know like.
-
It's not the players, as much as the prices. 100m on Enzo (40m Bruno), 70m on Mudryk (45m Gordon), 65m on Cucerellla (12m Burn). Look at the business the likes of City do in comparison. Poch will get thrown under the bus soon.

He also made a mistake that led to their second free kick.
-
To be involved in 3 goals is incredible. Love him.
-
I thought the ref was excellent yesterday.
-
He was class. It's a nice relief to know that he's class and not just slightly class.
-
This never happened.

Always knew exactly what I wanted to do with the ball but just didn't have the legs or lungs. These kids nowadays don't realise how good they have it. My sons being playing for 5 years or so and he's ten, small pitches, smaller goals, smaller balls, smaller sized games. I was only starting at his age and it was straight onto massive pitches and massive goals, 90 minutes.

I can't see a scenario where we bring him back in January and agree with the above that we are more likely to send him there for another 12 months in the summer. I'd bet a fair amount of money we never see him play a competitive game for NUFC. We may get some decent coin for him though.

Howe basically confirmed him in his presser.
-
How much would he cost you? He's an average player, we are passed that IMO.
-
I don't think "raid" counts when someone will cost 60m+. Also.... Brian Mbeumo.
-
He's what we need I terms of player profile but huge question marks over his attitude.
-
The personal matter being that his club is on its knees with injuries.
-
Its the difference between needing to bring Jacob Murphy into the squad instead of Matt Richie. That's the evolution. He might be 2nd choice RW right now but in 6/12 months he will be 3rd choice. You still need a 3rd choice. Especially ones who are notoriously good eggs who have proven will run through a brick wall for the team. New contract does not = key player. New contract = protected investment.

If Howe is under pressure right now, no manager has ever got a chance. We might as well not bother.

1. We aren't in a bad run. 2. There's no such thing as normal people in football. 3. Our owners have showed incredible restraint, despite what people thought was going to happen after our takeover. Eddie Howe is under very little pressure. I don't need to see any more from him to know he's the real deal. He's the epitome of form is temporary/class is permanent.

Has all the elements of a transfer that is talked about but won't happen.

1. RW/Versatile forward player. For me whoever this is needs to be elite and ready to go. Even as good as Gordon has been, I want someone with experience, pedigree and quality. I also want someone who doesn't need Trippier to hold their hand from RB. 2. CB. Find another Botman. Easier said than done. This would allow us to rotate between Schar, Botman and a new CB, with Lascelles there as a more than useful back up. 3. DM. I know some want a "proper DM" who goes around smashing opposition players up but not for me. We just need someone who can take the weight off Bruno and can offer us the option of moving Bruno forward. This is what we are missing in our CL games. I don't want us to lose anything with regards to our ball retention because we've signed a bruiser. Palhinha, Neves or Caqueret, if we want a younger option. In this scenario, we might have to think about giving both Miley and Anderson loan moves.
-
Didn't City pay 40? And his stock is way lower now.
-
Just did someone Dennis Wising and its always a good sign when a DM is given free kick duties, especially a 23 year old no less. Think he's French U21s captain too. Looks made for us, judging by YouTube. Seems to nick the ball well and plays progressive passes. Would be a great understudy for Bruno IMO.
-
With Lyon being in the predicament they are.... I'd be all over that Caqueret lad who looked absolutely brilliant for France young uns. I have no idea if he's played or how he's played this season mind. DM who's an absolute natural on the ball.
-
My instinct is that we won't look at Phillips, unless there is a really good deal to be done (which there might). It's easy to forget how opportunistic we have been in the past; Bruno, Isak and Tonali became targets because they were available IMO. Where as Gordon, Botman, Tino and Hall feel like long term investments. Here's hoping someone becomes available in January and we can pounce.

Surprised you see the World cup/Euros as irrelevant.
