  1. Shame he can't play against Man U. Could have got him to crock Rashford.
  2. Especially with his wages off the books and potentially a 15m boost to the auld FFP coffers.
  3. Fucking 15m. We are sooooo going to put that to good use.
  4. Tell you what has struck me most, the fact that north east journos are nowhere near this story. Everything has come from the Forest end. Bodes well for any potential incomings.
  5. We are better than Man United, so we will beat them.
  6. Would happily see Darmesh and Kaveh fight to the death and then see the winner get shot.
  7. And thats fine but we have 2 games in 4 days. We could play the same team in both but with Isak just back from injury I can't see that. The question is which do you see as a priority?
  8. It's very rare that a player turns up in a plane without the press getting wind of it before hand. IF that plane has anything to do with football, its more likely an agent coming in for talks. Remember we had Seskos agent on Tyneside, it doesn't always mean anything significant. I'd wager that Ashworth and Nickson have multiple discussions everyday with agents and intermediaries.
  9. So the big debate is whether to start Wilson/Isak vs Palace or Southampton. I suppose Howes real question is who is suited to which opposition. I'd argue that Palace are more likely to have a tight defence, so I'd want Wilson available to for those cute finishes or will there be more space on the pitch and more counter attacking opportunities for Isak?
  10. Is there not a scenario where you could reset the loyalty points every 3 years or so. This allows a period where some can get tickets but also allows the opportunity for those with a lot of loyalty points to rebuild. The likelihood is that those who go regularly to away games will rebuild their points quickly anyway because alot of fans just want to go to the odd away game. Also, why can't you build up a smaller number of loyalty points from cup games? There has to be a balance somewhere. To be clear, I clearly get those who have built up points being frustrated by suggestions but at the same time, they shouldn't have guaranteed tickets for away games
  11. Joelinton as an option up front is fine but I'd still suggest we were spread too thin in the wide areas in that scenario. I'd be more than happy as Joelinton 3rd choice CF, provided we bulked up in other areas.
  12. Don't care how many forwards other teams have. We need 3 because: 1. Wilson has paper legs and misses 50% of a season. 2. We don't have wide forwards who can play a false 9 or even play legitimate striker roles.
  13. We must have someone lined up or at least be incredibly confident that we can make a late addition to our forward line. I can't even think of anyone we've been linked with.
  14. Newcastle transfers right now seems like CIA pre 9/11. Lots of chatter, we know somethings coming but fuck knows where and when.
  15. Yeah I'd say someone who could do a couple of jobs. Someone young and exciting.
  16. I suspect we might use the loan market too.
  17. This is great news because we 100% have something cooking, in terms of a replacement. Also probably get a half decent loan fee.
  18. Didn't know that. Sorry for upsetting you.
  19. Yeah I don't see why anyone doesn't get this. Howe isn't going to rely on Wilson and Isak. We may sign someone who can play in multiple roles. Joao Pedro was my guess but apparently he's injured.
  20. Howe wouldn't let would go without a replacement. Joao Pedro?
  21. Forest would be a better bet than either Bournemouth or Everton.
  22. I will tell you on April 22 whether we are finishing 4th.
