Pope Trippier Schar Botman Burn Bruno Longstaff Joelinton Miggy Gordon Isak It would fucking tremendous to see Willock back on the bench too. I think we will have too much for them. Is it definite that Eze is missing?

I think Theregulars wants to make a good point but is so frustrated by the draw that emotion is clouding his words. I get it. Its hard to make rational comments when a win/game gets away from you. Sometimes it's wise to go away and gather your thoughts before diving into this place. The job comments to vinny were largely uncalled for and probably worth an apology. I actually don't think Anderson will ever be an elite player but he is a decent PL player and he's young and likely to get better. Nothing wrong with rooting for a young lad and a local boy no less.
-
Someone mentioned that Isak picked up a knock........ or Eddie had a plan for pulling him out of Sweden squad.
-
So you admit you were wrong about Howe? Since we pumped PSG?
-
Would have snapped ya hands off for: 3 wins 1 draw in PL (the draw being away to a side who beat Brighton away, no less). Knocking City out the cup. Smashing PSG. Drawing in Milan. Top of our CL group. Plenty of clean sheets. All with 5 or so good players out. But aye... Andersons shite is the vibe.
-
Bellingham. Bellingham. He's not as good as Bellingham, he's not good enough for us.
-
Multiple poor performances? New to footy?
-
Shite again now lads, aye? If your reaction to a decent draw is to immediately jump in here and start making sweeping criticisms of individuals, well, you're not for me. Andersons shite. Tonalis shite. Pope's shite. Just like Gordon? Just like Bruno a couple of weeks ago or Longstaff in the summer? It's reactionary nonsense.
-
No issue with anyone calling out moments but both Pope and Lascelles caused more issues with the first than Tonali.
-
I'm genuinely perplexed. I can only assume that some can't handle not winning and need a punchbag.
-
Yes it is. Gordon was trash, like fucking horrific.
-
This shit is absolutely ridiculous mind. Some never learn. The same ones who no doubt called Gordon shite.
-
I thought this was is best game for us. Shocked to see criticism.
-
If we have Botman, Gordon and Joelinton, we smash these mind.
-
Wilson for Anderson, Murphy for Miggy. We can win this. Remember Brentford last season? Could even bring Longstaff out and play Isak number 10.
-
I absolutely don't want to move and don't have a ST. Stay where we are. I'm fairly convinced that the club have been encouraged by the possibility of expansion. If we can get anywhere around the 65k mark, we've hit the sweet spot IMO. St James Park is Newcastle United.
-
Ive no doubt that the club have a couple of young attacking players lined up. Players not in the 30m Lewis Hall bracket but also with more potential than Minteh and Kuol. Probably South American. I don't really agree that we should follow the Brighton model, that suggests scouting unknowns and flipping them for profit. We do need to be dipping into that box though because there is alot of value in it. I'd also like us to keep an eye on experienced players. It's not lost on me that our success has been grounded largely on the experience of the likes Burn, Trippier, Schar, Wilson etc. For example, I see no issue on signing a CB who is say 28, you will still get a strong 5 years, provided they are the right character.

I'd love us to do what Schalke did and make their tunnel design like a mine. It fit with their heritage and I think it fits with ours.
-
Aye fair enough, just seen what Spurs did with their away dressing room.
-
Whats equally as crucial, is that they upgrade the actual facilities of the stadium. They players home and away need new dressing rooms, warm up areas. It's not fit for purpose, that means a remodelling of that whole area. The tunnel area needs expanding too. On the other hand, we don't have to go down that route, but it's what modern stadiums have.
-
No it's not. It was just my way of saying I like West Ham as a club. Christ.
-
I think West Ham are my favourite non Newcastle PL club. I don't mind Moyes, despite his limitations. I can't imagine being a West Ham and having to listen to the fans of other London clubs going on. West Ham feel like an authentic London club. There fans are radgies and that's normally the sign of a proper club in my book. Was also rooting for them in the Conference last year. So, in summary, I hope we fuck them up the arse today.

Class and not even the best thing to happen this week.

Don't think for one second we need another LB Burn is 1st choice, then Targett and Lewis Hall is the guy we plan on training for that position. It would be nice to go and sign a world class LB but signing Hall basically got rid of that. I'd be looking at a CB who can play both sides as a priority, then look for a right winger of extreme quality. Our next attacking signing should be a star, like Isak, Tonali level.
