Hope says up to 12 months, I don't know if thats the limit. Thank fuck we are loaded and can just sign another CM in Jan if needed.
-
Nee wonder they sold him.
-
Yeah, he looks fucked to me.

I'm not even THAT bothered and I'm not sure why.

Not sure where the truth lies but I don't trust the Italian justice system at all.

Another example of Barcelona thinking they can penny pinch because they are Barcelona.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
STM replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
My calculation had the average at 12.5 last year but that was including group winners Therefore 11/12 should see you through the group. I'd suggest that winning our remaining two home group games will see us through. -
ESR entirely fits our current MO. Would be really fucking helpful if one of these lads could play RW wing though. AG, HB and ESR are all right footers who have tended to play on the left. Can one of them shift to the right?

Spot on, especially the bit about characters. He's the polar opposite to Bruno and probably needs time to mix and feel comfortable. Language is a huge part of that. I think it's worth mentioning, we've beaten PSG and City with him in the side and it wasn't as if we were carrying him.
-
You can't change Bruno like. TCD is right, at some point he will pick up a suspension. Its up to NUFC to make sure we have an able deputy.

Some great replies on my Aaron Ramsdale shout, which was only a half suggestion if I'm honest. Pope is class and as has been suggested, replacing him is near enough impossible.
-
Pope is fantastic and I love him but don't think for a second that signing Aaron Ramsdale hasn't crossed my mind.

I came in here post match expecting everyone to think the same thing as i did, that Tonali was one of our better players. So to find that most were slating his performance shocked me. On reflection, I accept he did make a few errors and he does need to stamp those out but I'm maintain his all round performance was OK. He was better than Longstaff but Longstaff has credit in the bank where as Tonali doesn't. Nobody trusts Tonali yet, heck, I didn't trust Gordon a month or so ago. He needs a run of top performances, just to shut people up and gain confidence. It might take a few month for that to happen.

We score early and we will smash them.
-
I'm sure you've seen but yes he said that Willock had been a miss but I thought it was telling that he was on Howes mind. I suspect he's getting there.
-
Taking a wild stab but I'd bet that you've called Longstaff a nothing player at some point too. You do understand that you don't have to score or assist to contribute to a game? I'm fairly sure 54 posted a nice group of stats that showed at the very least he's contributing to the side. He's also got incredible footwork. I've seen that with my eyes.
-
Was interesting that Howe named checked Willock post match. Would love him to play against Man United in some capacity.
-
There's nothing about Howe that doesn't suggest he's an elite manager. He hasn't won a major trophy yet.... which is funny because neither had Klopp, until he did.
-
Zouma, you don't con me.
-
Personally I think Howe is God but that's just being a silly old willy.
