  1. He would do alright for Sunderland. They wouldnt go bust and he would get them back in the PL before making a tidy profit.

Schar making pickford look a fool.
  4. I'd bet my house that zero contact has been made between the sheikh and Mourinho, about the managers job. We should be much more worried about whether the takeover goes through at all.

Why not bring it in for every single decision on the pitch? Football isn’t broken, there’s no need for this shit. Aye but they got the decision correct. That's the only thing that matters. I'm confused as to what people want? I want the ref and his assistants to make the decisions, but be better at it. Var is replacing the need to ensure refs are good at their jobs, nothing else. Officials could be better, I grant you, but ultimately they will never get all the decisions correct. The system worked perfectly in this instance. England scored a goal which should never have stood.

It was a foul. If it happened against NUFC in a match and wasn’t given due to the lack of VAR, we would be calling for it. Just for a minute, will people stop obsessing that var will be good for Newcastle and think of it from a football point of view? What football point of view? If it's going to take them a minute to get the decision correct, then what's the problem?

Martin Tyler is an idiot. "People are going to fall over," err Martin, Wilson hauled the defender to the ground before scoring.

    Haha. Wilson fouled. Fair enough.
  10. Now if the ‘they’ is our potential owners then I’m a bit more worried He means "they" as in the items on the agenda, keep getting pushed back.... I think.
  11. Mike Ashley, at this point, has spent probably 6 figures on trying to sell the club. The conspiracy theories are looney tune land.
  12. Noone likes you... theres a FACT for you.
  13. I feel like this coming week is crunch time, one way or another.
  14. Its like groundhog day. It's like groundhog day.
  15. You would have to assume that someone thinks the takeover will be done before Rafa's contract expires. Either the takeover falls through and Rafa decides on his future with Ashley or the takeover happens and (hopefully) Rafa is offered a different vision by the new lot.
  16. What illness did he have? Hope he wasnt one of the ones who ate a supermarket sandwich.
  17. Sick to fuck of being the only club who dont prepare whatsoever for the next season. "Business as usual," the only truth the club have ever told us.
  18. They wouldn't, but you'd think the Bin Zayed Group would seeing as they have been so adamant to the press that they are for real and are buying us. All they have released is a vague statement so I think it's safe to assume they haven't reached that stage yet. Aye, no bother, they will just live stream the whole thing. Also, their statements weren't vague.
  19. It's funny how the Chronicle can give us stuff like that but cant explain WHY it hasnt begun or indeed what the hold ups are?
  20. Fair play to Penn mind, he added to this bizarre social experiment.
  21. I was worried Penn might be some ITK but I checked his posts and hes pretty much a gobshite, as you were.
  22. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, I do worry this takeover will fall flat on its arse and we will be in an absolute shambles. I know their not the best but all of the NUFC journalists seem to be getting the same messages, that it's either no where near or that it wont happen. Even the likes of Caulkin wont say he thinks it might happen. I honestly dont know in what scenario it would fall through, as I dont believe all the conspiracy stuff, far too much money has been poured in at this stage. Does anyone else that impending sense of inevitable doom? Edit: Its semi irrational but it just feels so very Newcastle to allow us to see the light before switching it off again.
