Craig Hope's YouTube content is normally faily accurate, or at least I find myself agreeing with him, when I do watch it. Ultimately he's a hack. His job is to get people buying his paper or clicking his articles, which means he's always going to be edging toward sensationalism. Whether he writes his articles positive or negative or whether he does them on the morning of the match or not, it won't (or shouldnt) have any baring on the performance/result. It's up to the players to perform but yes journalists are selfish pricks, what's new?

Sorry. I was half asleep writing that list. I knew I'd missed some. Vlad = Less said the better Kelly = Failure so far, I suspect he will come good to a degree. He was also a free transfer. Barnes = Success. Failure in strategy perhaps.

Burn 12m = Success Targett 15m? = Failure Wood 25m = Failure (getting 17m back made it pretty decent) Pope 12m = Success Gordon 45m = Success Hall 35m = Success Tino 35m = Success Osula 10m = TBC Not a bad hit rate though, especially when you consider that if we sold our England trio, we'd likely recoup conservatively 150m, probably more. While on the other hand we've got a 55m Italian who's got the biggest question mark over his future on the "foreign signings" list. I'm not disputing the need to cast our net wider though, I'm just trying to play devils advocate.

I also don't get anywhere near the enjoyment from this, knowing how shite we've been recently.

Reading between the lines, there's been a major fall out, which shocks me given how much of a nice guy Ratcliffe is and what a loyal person Ashworth is. Man United are now ran by a dictatorship, who will effectively make all of the decisions for the club. This won't go well.

Looks like they've fallen out and he's been sacked.

These lot are shite. Put a fresh battery in Joelinton Stop shooting ourselves in the foot. Make the right subs. 3 points.

I was worried that he wouldn't be as press proof as Bruno but he had absolutely no issue. In fact, he plays those first time passes that Bruno doesn't.

Been crying for the longest time to get him as a DM. Now we've seen it, it needs to stay. Love the bloke. That moment in the second half where he tracked their player, bullied him off the ball and won the foul was a million miles from the Tonali we saw in the first few games last year. All this horseshit about him and Bruno can stop now.

Good performance. Good result. Shite reffing. Salah is genuinely amazing and it's rare I come away from a game thinking that we've been playing against 1 man. There was quite a few mini positives for us too.

Imagine the can of worms had he wrote "I love Mohammed". There'd be more gammon on the pitch than that time Luis Figo swapped Barca for Real.

Was watching something where he said "who's that guy" and he was one of our recent ex players and TG had never heard of him. From that second I knew it wasn't the place for any actual football content.... or indeed any intelligent content whatsoever for that matter.

That's not true. Not even slightly.

Spot on. We are slightly under achieving with this squad and it's not had any investment in 18 months. Sell some players, sign some players and let him go again, this time from a stronger spot.

The fans are nowhere near wanting Howe gone.... well unless you take what you read on a football forum or twitter as your metric. As always, it's the extreme end of opinions. Some healthy criticism aside, most people who I speak to are still absolutely behind him. Of course, like anything else. If you keep getting beat...

I'd rather get rid of a host of players before losing the manager. Things are a bit stale, some poor decision making at either end of the pitch and the side are lacking some confidence/motivation for whatever reason. I'd be looking at a bit of a fire sale and a mini rebuild. We've got some really great things about our squad. I'd pretty much take offers for most of our players, in order to be able to do some business in the transfer market. Eddie Howe is, at minimum, a good manager. We've had 3 managers in the PL era who can sit at the same table as him, in 30 years of football. In my opinion, losing him would be catastrophic.

Sandro undroppable now.

Wilson is such a great sub.

I'm presuming sarcasm.

He's way fitter than when he first joined.

Can't fathom why he hasn't freshened it up.
