    You sure he's 21? No I'm guessing.

Exactly Baggio The kid is 21 years of age and it's a bank holiday and he's here. Weekends ye sign on any time he's here. Now it might not be the kids fault he's got no life, but why does he have to spend it here. I guarantee now, 80% of the regular posters on here have a more indepth knowledge of Tottenham Hotspur than him. I see his posts sometimes and I think "what d ye want ya daft cunt", and I bet I'm not alone.

I don't accept that. My point ANYWAY, was this Nani, he see's the toon in for him, a club clearly on the up, with a fan base Spurs could only dream of (in good time and bad), in for him, paying great wages surrounded by good attacking players like Martins and Owen, and with the likelyhood of many more to come, against a club who can't hold on to their best players (Berbatov. Carrick), who have NEVER qualified for the CL in a small stadium in front of some of the most passionless fans in Britain. Hard fuckin choice. 4FS. If only it were that simple. But it isn't. For one thing, Spurs are in London which gives them a massive advantage in attracting players over clubs in the rest of the country. Now half the league has billionaire backers, can afford anyone they like, and can offer big wages, that is one factor that is going to play a big role in attracting players, especially foreign ones. Oh, and CoachHTT is absolutely spot on with his post above. I know but we're Newcastle United and they're Tottenham mate. The London thing comes in to play with Arsenal and Chelsea definitely, but players at your middle of the road clubs, Spurs/West Ham etc... have never had a problem moving to bigger nothern clubs in the past mate.
  4. I'm wary of players who have had long term injury problems now. There's more to it than the biology of a players body too, I just think some players are unlucky.

A CLASSIC SUMMING UP Seconded, I feel a new stolen signature coming on. Getting back to this lad Nani, I believe it's important with all the sweeping changes going on at the club, that Sam creates an environment where anyone from somewhere like PORTUGAL doesn't feel isolated. Your big European clubs have people employed entirely to make sure foreign players settle in the area easier etc...

Hard fuckin choice. 4FS. 1) A new manager and new owners dosent neccesarily mean your clearly on the up. Try securing 5th place two seasons in a row then you can boast that your "clearly on the up" 2) yeh im sure our attacking players who managed over 100 goals in all competitions last season and were the 4th highest scorers in the league just isnt good enough for him 3)Thanks for the breaking news Stevie, didnt know berbatov had left. Just as much chance Owen, Martins, parker and N'zogbia laeving the toon tbh 5th place PMSL Robson basically got sacked for finishing fifth. As for the players you mentioned ANY cunt who doesn't want to play for us, they can fuck off as far as I'm concerned, there's a lot of negativity that surrounds the club, but I tell ye, and everyone in this country knows this deep down, we can be a fuckin great club, a permanent member of a top three, I can never see you being the same.

mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif Do you want me to start reeling off names of players who have turned you down for us? Fuckin hell Tottenham or Newcastle, are you stupid? Especially now! Talking as if youve just secured a premiership title. FFS you havent actually done anything yet. Yes youve finally got a competent manager (doubt Allardyce is a major pulling factor in portugal tbh), but you youve finished below us three seasons on the trot and your not even in the bloody uefa cup. Money does talk though tbh. I'd rather not be in the UEFA Cup. The UEFA Cup is a competition for clubs who've been in Europe twice in 20 years like Bolton and Tottenham to be excited about. Being in the Champions League is the like the difference between a blow job and a w***, not that you'd know the difference anyway you. When you've been in the CL the UEFA is a ridiculously poor substitute. Newcastle United by any measurement are a far bigger club than Tottenham, and now we're significantly richer. Tottenham are a average sized club who are doing things the right way in fairness with a wage ceiling, building the club off the pitch but don't get above your station, f****** hell. Thats nice to know but even if you did want to, youre team wasnt even good enough to qualify for a competition you dont even rate. "Newcastle United by any measurement are a far bigger club than Tottenham?" Would that be trophies won stevie?? Well only Boro count League Cups, and no one counts Charity Shields. Surely being champions of the country is a bigger accolade than the FA Cup wins, and we've been English Champions DOUBLE the amount of times you have, while you've only won TWO FA Cups more than us. The irony is Newcastle are known as the biggest under achievers in football, while Tottenham have a "glorious history" yet there's nothing to choose between the clubs in honours won. The last sentence sums it all up mate, and the thing is that is probably the strongest argument you could put up when comparing the two clubs.
  10. Agree with you that they certainly need more qualities, but it looks to me that there will be some uncertainties and weakened teams next season and if Derby can make use of the situation they might just survive. Wigan and Fulham have new managers and mediocre teams. Steve Bruce's Birmingham rely heavily on players' quality this season so next season they might struggle as they will face better players. So maybe Derby will just finish bottom 4th? I don't know it is just an educated guess. Where do you think yous will come next season Delima? I think yous could be in the relegation shake up to be honest if Yakubu leaves as well.

  13. Excellent tactician Davies is. Think he will come up with other suitable tactics to survive in the Premiership. He took the risk and spend big (relatively) during January when they were top of the league. He got in some players that make massive contributions to the promotion. Think he is certainly brave yet sophiscated enough to take risks and get the right players during this summer. I think they need at least 5 or 6 to play an open expansive game week in week out. One who clearly has the ability is Giles Barnes, I think Steve Howard, while he could be a handful is going to be ineffectual against fast tall athletic defenders like Rio Ferdinand though. You could tell how excited he sounded to be playing at St James' though next season, came across as a top lad despite his Chester Le Street accent. I think the two players they have who have the quality requirted in the Premiership are Barnes, and young Jones, both were subs, partly because of fitness concerns and partly because of the tactics Davies employed.

Allardyce probably wont go bidding £12m for a winger until he knows exactly how much he has to spend. True.
  15. Disagree with this I think they will just manage to stay up. They have got the Sol Campbell and Rio Ferdinand of the Championship division. With JOnes and Barnes they have some real quality in their side. But obsiouly they definitely need to buy more qualities. They need 2 good strikers and few more midfielders. I think they need to spend a whole new defence to be honest. He's an excellent tactician Billy Davies, he realised they couldn't beat WBA in an open game, so he closed the whole game down with Oakley and in particular Seth Johnson rarely getting forward when Derby were on the attack, as an insurance policy. You can't do this in the Premiership, unless the players sitting are the likes of Makalele or Mascherano, and you have GENUINE quality on the counter attack. I think Derby will fair better than Watford in terms of points, but still fancy them to be relegated with Fulham and Wigan.

He's clearly a talent, and if he's seriously considering signing for Tottenham why aren't we in for him? Obviously he wouldn't go there if he knew of our interest, and at the end of the day if he signs for Spurs it will just be a stepping stone for him anyway.
  17. Lost a packet on WBA today, I can't believe Roeder was going to sign that total shite full back Paul Robinson, it really beggars belief.
  18. At the end of the day he might be a fat c***, an idiot, dense, and an embarrassment at times, but he is geordie, and I believe he loves the toon as much as any of us Get well soon. A lot of people saw him in a different light after THAT video, and I hope he doesn't die or anything, get well soon He is no more a Geordie than Nelson Mandela is...He is from Carlisle....thats not a geordie Who told you that? Maybe he was born there, but he was brought up in Byker, certainly doesn't sound inbred to me.

  20. Brilliant post mate, said it all really. They're the scum of this nation as far as I'm concerned. Why is it EVERY TIME, and they have the audacity to say they're the best fans in this nation because they sing a few songs in CL Semi's.
  21. So it would be fine if they just went out there tooled-up, part of a real army eh? Show those Ities a bit of British pride? Did I say that? oh dear. What sort of respectable "firm" would go tooled up. It's like minded people fighting like minded people usually these days when it goes "off". Not pissed up arseholes kicking their own fans in the head when they're lying on the floor. Respectable firm? Like the gremlins and casuals mostly jailed for twatting each other with bricks, bats and knives while decent people cowered in terror? Yeah, they're well respectable. I said respectable firm, not arseholes from North Shields who change the rules as they go along.
