Game was lost when we went in at half time 0-0. What an awful penalty. For fuck sake, he possesses so much power in his feet and he does that. Took his goal well enough but a false dawn, and obviously failing to sort out the defence when Taylor was being strapped up did us no favours. The most annoying thing is that teams have stopped Jonas by doubling up on him. Arshavin isn't likely to do that particularly and yet we've just not thought about it. Sickening.

Why are you so shocked Ronaldo that Shearer declined when: a) he got older b) Bellamy left c) He played alongside Shola. A lot. d) Solano left, Robert declined. Any striker is only as good as the players who supply him. It's not as if Shearer missed chance after chance or anything, whilst he was on the pitch we had a chance of scoring.
