-
Forster Geremi Lough Tozer Kadar
-
He is on
-
Cheers, Lee. Craig Hope tbh
-
United re-emerge for the second period with Geremi having replaced Fabricio Coloccini, Beye switching to centre-back, and Andy Carroll and Xisco on for Joey Barton and Oba Martins. Fraser Forster also replaces Tim Krul in goal.
-
He logged off because he was sick of the state of us
-
Lee Ryder: It's a bad start for the Toon with Orient scoring after just three minutes. The goal came after a scuffle between Thornton and Barton which ended in Barton's shirt being torn nearly in half.

Wonder who it was

I'm all set for the new season, Mike Ashley's Black & White Army, Kazenga playing just off Carroll in our new Ferdinand/Beardsley combo can't wait tbh

I`m not annoyed really anymore, we get Eto'o and Hleb + millions, i am the one who's laughing here. He was bound to leave sooner or later anyways, just sucks that it have to be the one player i really like Moratti>> Laporta I felt the same when Wigan signed Sibi off us, similar players in many ways, but in another more accurate way, Sibi is better

Not sure if this has been posted, interesting quotes from Duff: Whole article: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5450345,00.html He added: "I don't know about deadlines, it should have been two weeks ago. For the past six weeks we've been hearing it will be sorted this time next week. We're sick of hearing it to be honest."

First exit predicted: Beye watched Various newspapers have now credited Portsmouth with an interest in Newcastle United full back Habib Beye, to replace the departed Glen Johnson at Fratton Park. However it's understood that Pompey aren't favourites to sign the Senegal international, with Hull City having made strenuous efforts in that direction over recent days. From NUFC.com Jesus.

Doesn't make any sense. We're back in the hunt beause we haven't bid and another club have confirmed their interest? Oh also which manager/Chairman is going to buy him?
-
Eh? you know a target man can also use his feet and it doesn't necessarily mean he has to be good in the air or he has to be a physicial lump like Heskey. Crouch's close control and footwork is superb imo and he holds the ball up very very well. No one would consider Berbatov a target man but that's exactly what he was for us. Players couldn't get near him becasue of his awsome footwork and he used to just wait until he had sufficient support to release the ball. Sorry I messed that up a bit, someone mentioned big man/little man and I Immediately thought of flick ons and pace. No need to be so condescending though man. Fwiw whilst Crouch isn't in the bracket of Berbatov and Viduka in terms of close control, he's pretty good at it. I always think when he's in the team though there's a tendancy to just hoof it, which like I mentioned, is not his strength. I guess a good manager will stop a team doing that.
-
Crouch has said himself he prefers using his feet, he doesn't excel at being a target man. Hence why Heskey plays that role for England and not Crouch.
-
Don't worry I'm sure Tom Sheldon is a fine businessman.
-
I see he's been deleted. Good call. Damn. Someone said that this guy had been quite accurate before (i think). Anyone know why he has been deleted? He was only accurate with Man Utd stuff, think he hangs out with Darren Fletcher. Although he did once say Berbatov was having a medical at Man Utd (the summer before he signed..) I can't think off the top of my head what he's been right about, Rossi coming on loan I think, not sure though.

I see he's been deleted. Good call.

Geremi I reckon. I expect a lot of the players to leave and be replaced by freebies at the last minute, Sibierski and Steve Watson must be sitting by the phone.

Was it nothing but applause?

68 mins - NEWCASTLE GOAL! After all the good football of the first half that led nowhere, it's route one stuff that gives United the lead - Ameobi flicks on and Nolan, effectively playing as a striker since his introduction, lofts home with a great finish despite pressure from three defenders. Great composure from the ex-Bolton man.
