Yeah I mean playing over the added time on Sunday was a disgrace
-
It's 2-2 shut up Nyt
-
Hmm, 2 hours ago called they want their goal back
-
I've just got back, the first half an hour was easily the greatest half an hour of the season at St. James' this season. The Toon Ultras led the whole stadium in making noise and the goals were flying in but Alkmaar always looked likely to create something, the guy behind me raised the point when it was 4-1 that he was surprised Alkmaar were still attacking, they just seemed to take it all in their stride and kept going. Pen seemed harsh and nobody in the stadium was happy with the decision it seemed but nevermind. Also Dyer seemed knackered after an hour so we were pretty sure Milner would replace him, but off went the Sib and any hopes of keeping the ball disappeared because it was hoofed to Milner everytime and it just kept coming back at us. Martins was unlucky with his chance for the 5th he went for the megs and got it marginally wrong, it hit the inside of the keeper's leg. I have no doubt Alkmaar will score at least twice over there I think the only question is can we match that..

I don't think he's good enough but: 1) He's always looked better without Shearer alongside him 2) He has looked good under Roeder, but then everybody did at the tail end of last season 3) He's been playing with a knackered hip for at least a year, so let's see how he goes now that it's "fixed"
-
Because he's not a regular now when everybody is fit?
-
They've been playing extra time for a while, still 1-1 but WBA down to 10
-
Boro equalise Although I'd like to see it go to extra time and they end up knackered and dissapointed
-
Here's an extra dimension for you all to ponder. It's the middle of April, we've just booked a UEFA cup final berth. Owen has returned to full training and although it would be a risk to bring him back, having Michael Owen in the UEFA cup final would be tremendous. Do you play him from the bench in the remaining league fixtures so he has some fitness for the final or do you stick to your guns of keeping him till next season?

KITSON! OMG THEY'RE BACK IN IT!!!
-
If we get to the Quarters and ITV take up coverage, will they choose us or Spurs? (assuming Spurs get there too) Oh and it'll be Matt Smith on ITV with those world beaters Robbie Earle and Andy Townsend..yay.
-
It'll still be Nobby when the pressures on, you could tell Martins was getting more and more frustrated so he asked to take it to get his goal/get the Everton one out of his mind in a no-pressure situation. No harm done.

Derby away about 7 years ago, Barton already on the pitch, stadium announcer announces that Barton is coming on, bringing about: "There's only 2 Warren Barton's!"

Spartack 1 - 1 Celta Vigo full time Would love Spartack to go out Oh and Sevilla lead away at Steaua Bucharest

Did you also forget basic maths and realize if 11 men are playing against 10 men, the 11 men have the advantage? So if Chelsea played with 10 men against Accrington Stanley, would Accrington still have the advantage? That's rhetorical, before you answer. So you think that because Ajax had a man sent off and Werder still won 3-0 that it doesn't send a message, even though Ajax are basically identified as European giants and Werder are, well, the heirs to the throne, in a way? I can see what you mean, yes obviously 10 men did make it easier for Werder but 3-0 looks quite authorative.
-
Ah yes I forget the rule of "if a man is sent off the win is subsequently not good"
-
Benfica only beating Bucharest 1-0 at home is interesting, would like Benfica out. Werder sent a bit of a message with tha result like, has to be said.

Shaktar level it up against Nancy, as Nancy fans begin the treck to my house to kill me for tempting fate...
-
If you're talking about AZ/Fener, it'll be on in Holland and that's where the updates are coming from. I'm following it on activescores.com

Nancy lead in stoppages away to Shaktar, got to think that'd be enough to see them through.
