I don't see why people were a mile off from predicting the profit. Everyone said something around £40-50m. There's basically been a mystery rise in costs of £25m that everyone is waiting to analyse. I feel most of us were spot on with the revenue number. We're heading comfortably to a top 15 club financially. Shame we act like we don't belong. Like going to prom wearing flip flops and shorts.

If they have engaged in revaluating assets to affect the profits this year and thus payable tax, they won't be able to repeat this trick next year. Revaluating to reduce taxable profit is a one-time transaction. If they don't want to show a £50m this year, they'll have to show it next year.
