    Bent or Martins?

Newcastle don't need no bent strikers.
  2. Did we? I knew about pinching Jonas, which he has gutted about apparently
  3. You think that based on what? Check my past posts, he's worth playing ahead of Duff but other then that I don't rate him, haven't for a while. He didn't even play in those games! He made a few sub apearances and wasn't even on the bench for the rest of them. You're talking total s***.. Oh and yes I mentioned the players brought in, re-read my last couple of posts. Fair enough, i admitted to my mistake above both. Still stand by the rest though, he was our best player with Martins under SA. Keegan only didn't play him because he wanted to leave, as SA convinced him to sign the contract wasn't it? I have seen alot of Nolan, and can tell you he's is going to disappoint he can't pass, has zero creativity, no legs but manages to make his way into the box. Wigan fans don't rate Taylor that is what I am basing my opinion on him on, they have seen enough of him, more than 2 games.
  4. Selling our best players? We've sold a keeper who put in a transfer request that we have a ready replacement for and one of the most under achieving player we've had for a long time. When was the last time Zog had a good game by the way?, I really can't remember. Huh? Along with Martins he is our most threatening player. Even this season, if you ignore his appearances at LB. Underachieving yes but doesn't ignore the talent, if the club was more stable either of them wouldnt leave - seeing as they both signed contracts recently. Players brought/bringing in. Taylor a defender good enough for championship takes a mean free kick and Kevin 'no good game in 2 years' Nolan. I remember when we signed Duff, Chelsea fans were saying aint had a good game in about a year. Same thing is happenning 'o all he needs is a change, better environment here, first team football.. will come good'. Johnson would be a good move but my optimism is at rock bottom. Most threatening player?, when? Yes he has talent but that means f*** all if its very VERY rarely used. He's done nowt for us this season, just like last season. As for our two most threatening players, Jonas and Martins, N'Zog isn't even on the list overall because he's only threatening once every 10 games. I'm not going to argue this anymore, I think you have an agenda because he's left and you have the hump with him. He has been threatening when played in his natural positions more games then not, which is an achievement considering just how s*** we are. First half of last season he was our best player behind Martins upto December, also the part of that season when KK started to win games he was very good too, so don't understand the 'f*** all' comment there. You didn't really defend what I said about the signing brought in mind? You agree with me on that? When KK started to win games he wasn't in the team. He made 32 league appearances out of 38, yes some of them sub. Hardly not in the team. But you claimed he was very good in the part of the season when KK started winning games. He was a sub in that period, getting on fr a total of 26 minutes in that 7 game unbeaten run!! http://www.nufc.com/html/2007-08html/fixtures.html Mistaken then, it happens, still stand by everything else.

  8. Moan, moan, moan..... ..Just ask Bolton/Wigan fans, that opinion is backed up massively. Your deluded, deluded, deluded...?
  9. This window has been shocking so far selling our best players and bringing in players who have not had a good game in over 2 years, so depressing. This Fox guy sounds a world beater.
  10. Did you miss the close finishes in the Premiership and the 2 lost cup finals, 3 lost cup semi-finals, numerous quarter-finals and losing to the hicks a few times. Players come and go. He's gone. Thanks for 11 years and now you're a Citeh player and i hope you lose all your games (apart from when i suits us that you win). Come on! I don't understand this, the club has put Given through alot of s*** this year. No stability at all, no prospects more importantly no answers long term. The off field drama, protests, performances, ownership, manager and attitudes around the clubs - can hardly blame him. Aye the poor b******. Fancy having to put up with all of that whilst still taking about £50,000 a week from the club. I don't know how he managed, I really don't. Isee you both ignore the other points though

Poor little lamb, he hasn't been picking up 3 times more a week than we make in a year like has he. It must have been so hard for him! What does that have to do with staying here, that's valid for every player out there.

  13. we might get all 3 ebondo, gomis and veloso. it would be so easy on fm09. We don't like optimism in here. Your sort ain't welcome
  14. Hope he injures himself picking up his increased pay the mercenary c***. Given = Judas c***. OMG he join Sunderland?! Or has he joined a team on the up with ambition? Never going to win anything at Newcastle good luck to him. You end up embarrassing yourself with literally every post you make. Don't reply to me. I know you 'don't care'. You think he'll win something with Manchester City? More chance then here right? Who else more ambitious wanted him? Have a go at the question I asked...... You think he'll win something with Manchester City? Yes, they going to be playing in Europe within 3 seasons. When you try sign players like Robinho, try sign Kaka one of the best keepers in England and stick by the manager like they have done. Very good chance indeed. Owners are going all out for success. Problem? Given has more chance here you reckon? Have a go at that. Playing in Europe doesn't equate to winning something. So? So, that was the question he hasn't answered in two attempts. Three attempts. No point debating this any further if you're ignoring the questions. Cheers. Answered it twice now lol, look!

Well looks answered it, what is your point? They are going the right way about winning stuff by signing top quality. Kevin Nolan pisses on their transfer dealings this window? They ARE going to be a force in the premier league, not immediately but will. Given most players/people can see that .. but not you.

They have more chance of winning stuff at Citeh then here. Fact. Unless something catasphrobic happens they will be in Europe and challenging trophies in some form. When owners try to sign the very best players in the world, they are aiming high! What are you trying to argue? He should stay here? Move to another club? There was no one else.
  17. I'm not sure that this is one of new challenges Given went on about seeing as we've been in Europe for all but a couple of the 11 season he's been with us and he's done the CL in that time too. So chasing Europe isn't really attractive to him because he has done it, he would rather be here? Man City like it or not are a very exciting club at the minute. They stood by Hughes through a very difficult period, i reckon its going to work. They are signing good players, and have tried to sign the very best ones. Whereas we are signing average-poor players, with Nicky Butt STILL in our first team come the end of the season.
