  1. But look what he has had to put up with this season. An owner one minute selling then he's not. 3 managers, a full-on St James park protest AND a relegation battle. There is very little to be optimistic about. Can't blame him at all.
  2. Hope he injures himself picking up his increased pay the mercenary c***. Given = Judas c***. OMG he join Sunderland?! Or has he joined a team on the up with ambition? Never going to win anything at Newcastle good luck to him. You end up embarrassing yourself with literally every post you make. Don't reply to me. I know you 'don't care'. You think he'll win something with Manchester City? More chance then here right? Who else more ambitious wanted him?

  4. If he becomes England number one by end of 2009 just imagine what his value would be like, Mike Ashley see its - he has one eye on 2010 January window
  5. Selling a player who didn't want to be here? Nah. Urgh, ok. A sad situation then, that better? I'm annoyed he's chosen to walk out on us. But if he doesn't want to be here then he can f***ing suck eggs. Hope we spend the cash WISEly. I'm sad that one of my personal heroes has decided he's had enough of this s*** club. That's what i was getting at. Then that's up to you my friend. Personally, I couldn't give a s*** about him (or anyone else who doesn't want to play for Newcastle United for that matter). He doesn't want to see it through, then f*** him. People not acknowledging what he has given to NUFC beggars belief. "F*** him" Maybe show him some f***ing respect. Had he acted with a bit of honesty and slapped in a transfer request in a month ago then I'd have been easier on him. He didn't. He decided to let his lawyer slag us off and link him with other clubs whilst still under contract. He can f*** off. Blimey, what a short term memory. Unbelievably loyal servant that has repeatedly urged whoever has been in charge to strengthen the defence in front of him - perhaps he finally realised that he wasn't being listened to. As to "He can f*** off", that's hardly impressive. I remember only too well how well he's played for us in the past. Which makes his actions over the last month even more vexing. That bloke has told his lawyer to slag the club off, make himself available for transfer (unofficially) and still draw his wage for us. He's an excellent goalie but he's a c*** for the way he's gone about things. Handing in a transfer request on the 30th January - f*** off Given. I don't wish injury on him but he's a prick. Transfer request = no loyalty fee. N'Zogbia gets one but not Shay. Great stuff.
  6. If i was Man City i would really go after Cristiano Ronaldo, pay Kaka kind of sums to get him there. Now that would be a statement to everyone, would imo certainly see Ferguson resigning, ending that era.
  7. I think the majority of Man City's deals are undisclosed because everyone knows how loaded they are and they don't want other clubs to be aware of what they've spent on other players. More often than not the amount paid is conjecture or released by the selling club, and not be Citeh. I just hope its reinvested, it has to be! And I hope one of the selling points of NUFC to new players is that JFK won't be manager next season So from day 1 they could do what they want? have no respect for the guy and what he says? They are in fact promised they are more important then the manager... jeez
  8. Spurs won't sell? Redknapp compared his finishing with that of his wife's in public!
  9. No you're not the only person. Not at all. Nor will it wash that he's left for a bigger club, Arsenal or Man Utd could be considered that but even with the Arab's billions Man City will never be bigger than Newcastle. It's money and nothing else. Thanks Shay - good luck. I like this post! they will NEVER be bigger than Newcastle?! They nearly attracted Kaka, have more chance of winning silverware for next how many years? plus good stadium and loyal supporters who filled out their stadium even when they went down numerous divisions. A club with a fair bit of history, but because they signed good ol' Shay they will NEVER be bigger than us relegation fodder for the foreseeable future. Kudos I wonder why Shay went, daft lad?
  10. No offence O-N but that's one of the strangest arguments I've ever seen on here. Are you sayng an experienced international with loads of wordly football experience is at a disadvantage to a young kid who's more than likely never left his home country and is playing at a level higher than he's ever experienced before. Bassong was part of a Metz team that got relegated from Ligue 1 as well. That must have made it easier for him to settle into a poor side then. N'Zogbia hadn't even broken into a Second Division French side, yet adapted quicker than Luque. Because was talented and has the attributes for the Premier League whereas Collocini doesn't at present. no hard to understand when you see him bullied off the ball so many times, yeh "not adapted" yet.
  11. That is pure speculation. Jonas come from playing in Spain doing ok. France is an inferior league to both Italy and Spain. He doesnt have the attributes for being a top class defender here, he is far too flawed at present.
  12. Vidic was not poor for Man Utd when he arrived, Evra was poor for a for tad. Vidic & Evra joined mid season & did not have a pre-season with the rest of MUFC players. Colo has been poor for most of this season. Coloccini didn't sign until the day before the Man Utd match didn't he? So it's not like you can say he had a full pre-season with the squad. I never said he did have a pre-season. To compare his poor form with Vidic is mental as Vidic was up & running after a few games. Colo is a average defender who has had a poor run of form like most players at the club. Vidic came into a back four with Rio Ferdinand to help him....Coloccini has two young kids. One that is completely showing him up, and he is an Argentina international too. Poor stuff.
  13. Want to see defending worse than Newcastle United's? Check out Juventus, absolute joke.

Reasons we won't go down.. Portsmouth, Boro and Spurs
  15. I love the way Benitez is moaning about Robbie Keane, when in the summer he did pretty much the exact same thing.
  16. come on Arsenal have £100 depending on you getting one lousy goal
  17. Exactly, or that Adel lad. Seem handy players and capable of going places. Hardly first choice players too i think would be available.
  18. I remember a helluva lot of people saying the same when we signed a certain Craig Bellamy. ..unbelievable.
  19. we need players ffs, would you rather we signed no one at all? he'll be a player fit for a relegation battle unlike 3/4's of our team we need anymore shit players though?
  20. We could go to a Man City forum and post quotes from someone on here who doesnt rate Given... does that mean Given is s****? Fine, when he turns in rubbish performances for us i hope to see you supporting him. Not getting on his back.
  21. A gutted Bolton fan story says it all? I know some bolton fans, they been saying this for a long time. There goes your theory.
  22. This was said when Smith, Cacapa, Boumsong, etc were signed. This transfer is no good.
