  1. They have every right to react angrily. Lying down and accepting this kind of dross is rank idiocy. Any other team in the world dont stand for it. Do Chelsea? Liverpool? Barcelona? Roma? When they perform under par, they want blood. No set of supporters should just get on with it, especially with complete inept management of our side on and off the pitch.
  2. CRAIG BELLAMY!!!!! ...joking. before it starts

    There's Only One

You reall yneed to look at the reasons he left in the very first place to seehow trivial and petulant he can be, he's done some great things for the club, but when it comes to taking the rough with the smooth, he goes missing. He gave us THE best times as manager, but walked out when we needed him the most, on 2 occasions now. My love for the man has drained big time. Why did he leave again? Was he allowed to buy/sell players he wanted? Did he promise the fans to be excited deadline day and then have none of his deals come through? just what on earth are you saying man? He told Ashley couldnt work like this, structure was flawed, him or Wise. Ashley choose Wise, its been rosy ever since.

No ones putting it all on his toes. The biggest wankers as you like to put it are the ones who clear KK of any blame whatsoever. When your given players you dont want, your targets you tried for get ignored. There is no chance of changing the operations what do you do? Dennis Wise has more say in the football club than the manager, thats wrong. A man like Keegan would of tried (left after the window) to work it out. If Ashely had sacked Wise like Keegan wanted, then wouldnt be in this situation!!

This. Anyone who thinks he didnt try are complete mongs. Signing players didnt want, who the fuck stands for that. I respect the guy more than i ever did, he was the only one capable of getting the guys on pitch to perform and had some morals about him.
  6. Has Kinnear being offerred a contract confirmed?
  7. Ashley's post Jan statement: "We are revising our long term plan. The Arsenal model was a failure as can be seen from Arsenal's current decline, we are now following the Wigan model a team on the way up." Actually, forget that Wigan spent about £7m in the Summer. Okay a less ambitious Wigan model then. The sad thing is, even Wigan seem to be a step up from us (both on and off the pitch) at this precise moment. How? The only thing i can think of better is their league position and off the pitch. We will always be more ambitious than Wigan, we demand it. Plus we can offer better wages thats enough for 95% of all players out there They've got a better team, a better manager and less boardroom unrest at the moment. Is that not being better on and off the pitch? Fair point but when it comes to signing players having a choice between Wigan and Newcastle, we are more attractive we just are, We at the moment are falling wayy below our expectations and where we should be. Wigan are pushing above their weight, think Blackburn last year - wouldnt want to go there now right? Reading a few seasons ago... We wont be down at the bottom for long, just like Tottenham. In regards to players like mentioned before .. players prime concern is what their wage would be like, which are budgeted allowance is among the top 6 is that right? cant remember

    Kinnear Out

Is Mike Ashley selling up? Will he be looking to offload the club in summer? Will new manager be given funds Jan/summer? Will the new manager be able to bring in his own team? What kind of structure will he be working in? With all those questions unclear, just off the top of my head. It will be foolish to replace JFK, whos signed on until Mike Ashley knows exactly what he wants to do with NUFC. Ashley has said he's not selling. If he's telling the truth, he needs to make a long term appointment at the earliest opportunity. If he's lying, he needs to sell the club ASAP at a loss, as it'll be below £100m by the end of the season if he doesn't act. He says he is staying, lets be honest - no one was interested. At least in my opinion. I don't think he wants to invest in the squad. Sell before you buy, thats not thinking long term and extending JFK contract. He was only appointed until future of our club was sorted... your right we should appoint someone asap but the fact we have made no effort too do that suggests the fat guy at the top, doesnt really know what to do with NUFC. Until then, we may just have to grin and bear it

  12. How did we get a transfer fee for him?? His contract was up at the end of the year. i reckon we would had let him leave for nothing this month anyway as he costs us alot on wages. 1.5 million that must be wrong surely?
  13. Unless he and his agent are lying, then the fact other clubs are talking to him means we have given him permission to look for another club, so why would he need to hand in a transfer request? Rubbish. Things haven't worked like that for the last 10 years. If ever. Then I guess we can look forward to the club reporting N'Zogbia's agent, Villa, Spurs and Lyon to the PL/UEFA, as it's a clear case of tapping up and we have the evidence in the form of direct quotes in print. You seem to be making something out of nothing tbh. Clubs ask agents about their players all the time, look at the comments from Geremi's agent yesterday. “I’ve had phone calls from Turkey and that’s as far as it’s gone,” Silkman told setanta.com. “I’ve had several calls, but as of yet nothing has been followed up. At this moment it’s a bit of a moot point because there’s no offer as such. “All we’ve had is ‘would he be interested?’ or ‘what’s his salary?’ and ‘what would be his transfer fee?’ Obviously this thing probably goes on regardless of the club giving permission, but it's tapping up unless the club has given permission first. End of. No agent with an ounce of intelligence would blatantly admit it to the press unless they were on safe ground and the club had given it's permission. Obviously Geremi has been told he can look for a new club too. People are slagging off N'Zogbia for looking for a transfer, and elbee was saying he should put in a transfer request. I'm just pointing out that unless his agent is completely stupid and is happy to openly flaunt the laws of the of the game, he has already been given permission to look for a new club. Your argument goes out the window when N'zogbia says along the lines of 'its upto newcastle, have a contract'.
  14. exactly, 36% of Man utd fans is more than 37% of newcastle fans(well im guessing they have more season ticket holders than us) so surely the better headline is with man utd fans. I think it means we are more at risk because we are more reliant on season ticket sales than Man Utd, they have income coming in from all over the world.
  15. The bad news. Shorey is f***ing gash. He's absolutely no physical presence, no pace *whatsoever* and no idea what to do when he does get forward. Put it like this. MON prefers to play Luke Young on the wrong side of the pitch, and NRC or Cuellar at RB to avoid playing Shorey. When Freddie Bouma comes back, he'll have even less of a prayer Please, please, please take him. Actually, if he did go to you, it would make much more sense of the N'Zogbia rumours. He knew enough at Reading to make him have pretty impressive assists stats for a fullback Assists 07/08 Fabregas 17 Young 14 Barry 10 Kalou 10 Rooney 10 Shorey 9 Bentley 9 Berbatov 9 Elano 9 Nani 9 Wow no Ronaldo on that list but Nani?!
  16. Agree to disagree, 22, available quite cheap. Proven somewhat in the Premier League, when had regular first team football was one of our best players have all the attributes he needs to be successful on the wings Just needs final delivery and work on his attitude, but hey he's 22. Probably will never make it to the top huh?
  17. He hasn't broken into the French side because he isn't good enough. He hasn't won any titles because he isn't good enough to earn a transfer to a team that can. Unless he fancies going back to France. I'm afraid going to have to disagree.. about the top 4 In my opinion the guy is better than Nani and they should be looking at Giggs replacement. He would add alot to Arsenal his direct running, and ability to take on players. I would rather have N'Zogbia with regular first team football than Malouda (too lightweight for PL, never looked comfortable) and Liverpools new LM Rieira is it, is still somewhat unproven. My friend, I'm sorry, but that post belongs in the same class as this one. Can i ask how? N'Zogbia isnt a good player? He has no potential? He can't take on 2/3 players? He can't change games? On form is he not one of our better players? Is nani/malouda better players... or are they by default because they play for Man Utd and Chelsea?? That's your answer. Seriously, you think Malouda is lightweight so the solution is to replace him with N'Zogbia of all people? Malouda everytime i have seen him been either hasnt the pace to get around someone, pushed off the ball. He has never settled to PL imo. N'Zogbia has been here for 4 years, if you dont rate N'Zogbia then we arent going to agree. I do, and think he can get into a top 4 club and i think some of these clubs may be interested. The guy has potential. Direct, pacey, can take on players, bring people into game. Certainly better than Nani at Man Utd and the one above.

  19. If people are struggling to handle anti newcastle newspaper articles - is football really the sport for you? even if she does have an agenda. If i was a sports journalist i can see myself shelling out a few little digs towards sunderland. Its not a problem guys, i am pretty sure no one at newcastle united takes her seriously.

  21. He aint said anything wrong, he hasnt broken into the French side and will not at Newcastle. He won't win any titles at newcastle, he has potential where he can win titles. Needs to be a good price, only player i would take from Spurs is Bale.
  22. Hugely impressive at training today, far better than our existing by all accounts. Wants £70k pw but apparently being offered £30k + bonuses for staying fit. Your still here
  23. I say as supporters we need to get into the oppositions heads more before the game... ..maybe if we kidnap there wives and kids...best fans in the league, lets prove it. If that cant get us a win we are truly fucked.
