  1. read it before, absolute bollocks it is! the tyne wear derby has to be right up there and it's one the oldest as well How exactly? To be put on that list would be embarrassing compared to the others. and how would it be embarrassing, sunderland and newcastle are two clubs known throughout the footballing world! lazio's history is nowhere near that of our club and that of sunderlands You are now saying that Newcastle vs Sunderland is a bigger worldwide occassion then the Roma derby?

Check out the number of fans each of those clubs have. Oh, and all the clubs in the article are successful too. Since when have us or the Mackems been successful?

  4. Either Luka Modric or Arda Turan
  5. I'm pretty sure Bellamy was somehow responsible for getting himself banned tbh. I doubt the last part of your post as well - since Given seems to moving to a top team.

Is everyone failing to see the situation here? It's not Ashley that is holding it all up... Marseille needs to bring in a striker before they can sanction any move for HBA. If they can't bring one in, they are keeping him.
  7. You was watching a different game to me then. Colo was pretty bad out there - his game was littered with errors. Williamson was our second best player.
  8. Difference is Chelsea have so much of the ball that Drogba is never isolated. Totally, totally different scenarios.
  9. Williamson was impressive, even more so when you take into account it's his first PL game and his team-mates in defense were crap today.
  10. Was kind of impressed with Williamson, Carroll and Routledge (in first 20 minutes) but the likes of Perch, Colo, Smith,Nolan and Jonas .. not so much. We all knew we would lose this, so to read some of the reactions on here... it's just embarrassing.
  11. Daddies HP Heinz Salad Cream Reggae Reggae All agreed.
  12. That whole period man, we used to play good football, and I actually looked forward to the derby games. I remember we spanked Boro 4-1 at their place once. Shearers 2nd in milan does it for me. Mental times. If you look at the away support going mental behind the goal it's sold out and going insane. That game was immense. I personally believed we would get annihilated that day, after they had stuffed us 4-1 IIRC at SJP, but we bettered them in every area of the pitch from start to finish.
  13. Lets be honest here.. the last full season under SBR, as much as i loved the guy, we must have played about 20 minutes of actual football - we were terrible that year.
  14. Well it was more 1 goal in 8 shots but otherwise
  15. What? As a player? What's the shirt got to do with it then? Because he's terrible in a white shirt. I thought that was obvious.

Seriously man, this whole 'We'll spend no money and be really bad and go down and so I can be really smug and say 'I told you sooo' to everyone' act is getting a bit sad now. If you really don't think anything will happen, stay out of this thread. HAHAHA How dare some of us have some hope!? I have never said I'll gloat, I don't want people getting into false hope, about us signing players! idiot! It's better than no hope. idiot! hope is something this football hasn't done for quite a large number of years sadly Well that is almost a sentence. If i have understood that correctly.. you have contradicted yourself again in the space of 2 posts.

I thought you were leaving this thread? I did, i haven't commented on the transfer until now. How the f*** have we got to 117 pages though Sorry but we have no money to spend, and it's pretty clear now we have nothing with this shambolic of an attempt to sign a player f***ing hell man so i'm guess your f***ing happy with how we are trying not to sign this player or any other players then? All the evidence would point to us trying to sign the player really. I would say we haven't, cos if we really wanted the player, we would try to get him ASAP for the man united game if we really wanted him I think hughton isn't having any control on transfers as I believe he'll want a player like this in for the game, and this isn't good! I'm literally baffled, so we are putting bids in for players allegedly because we don't want them. Maybe thats what we did with Best and Cov called our bluff. Yep, when you really want the player you don't negotiate - such a rookie mistake.

I'm still struggling to understand how Newcastle, at this moment in time, have managed to turn HBA's head.
