Waste of time anyway. They're counting on Bliar being the one to sign it, (being a Toon fan allegedly) ... well the petition runs till next feb. He'll be gone by then.

Personally I quite like it. I don't agree with the following but would like to hear your views. What do you think of the accusation made (on another forum I post on) that it "makes a mockery of the the tradition and history that surrounds the club. The Adidas stripes should not be there - the sleeve should be black and white stripes"

If we win all our games we will be in with a good chance of challenging for a place in the top half of the table, but if we lose some of them anything could happen and we might be struggling in the lower half. :winking:

Any idea what it means? Have they put another bid in?

So no one knows then? I just wondered if it was an existing shareholder or someone new. anyway, maybe this explains why Belgravia or anyone else might be interested. from the Daily Mail (2nd article down

Can anyone translate what this means I think it's connected with those million shares (about 1%) that was traded last week, but I'm not sure or what the implications are.

 I thought I had heard it all this season from the Chronically Deluded! now I know I have! I do wish we had Michael Owen back though!

incredible, some of the things some people come out with! according to a sports lawyer I was talking with earlier, they can't actually stop women refs and assistants, just as in any job where there is no physical reason that a woman cannot do it. So it isn't just political correctness, it is the law, as long as she is qualified. There was a precedent once where there was a woman ref in a male judo match, they tried to get her banned and the case was thrown out of court apparently.

theres some more Here More expensive like, but worth posting for those who want different sizes / colours or can't use paypal. someone told us about them earlier.

nice try! but men can't get the decisions right because they can't cope with multitasking or decision making :winking: How can they watch the game, the line, where the ball is and run at the same time? and then make a decision when there's no women around? no wonder there are so many bad decisions made! bluebigeek.gif you win. I knew you'd see things my way eventually! :winking:

 oh you had to add the last bit didn't you? replace the word woman, with black or asian and see how you feel about it then. funny how racism is frowned upon but sexism is celebrated! tbh, now we've got a black female referee... I mean, no doubt she's really fast, but can she ref? Ask Uriah. She could be absolutely pants for all I know, but it won't be because she is black or because she's female. I wish we could get over this, I mean how many really bad referees and linesmen are there? Nearly all of them tbh :winking: tbh, now we've got a black female referee... It doesn't, but its the fact that through the principle of free speech, women can spout off for an hour every day about how useless men are, how shit they are in bed, how shit they are on dates etc, but then Mike Newell is apparantly not in his right to say that he doesn't think women should be referees? Because he's trying to say what he thinks they should be allowed to do, when they are already allowed to do it, because FIFA, the FA and the law says there is no reason that they shouldn't be allowed to do it. Loose women is a TV programme, unconnected with football, that is tongue in cheek and is not saying that men should not be allowed to do a certain job, but just expresses opinions which are usually a load of shite and I think most people see it as such. I certainly do anyway, and I don't know anyone who takes it seriously.
-
oh aye, like loose women has got exactly ... what to do with football or employment law?
-
So if he said that Uriah Rennie was a shite referee because he was black, would you still feel the same. Perhaps there are some that would, but the majority would see why that is stupid, so why should it be different?

:lazy: Considering the number of appalling performances by men, Poll & Renny in particular spring to mind, I think that men should not be allowed to referee any more matches. :winking: Considering the sheer stupidity of the idea that women can't referee just because of their sex, which always is spouted by males, then men should not be allowed an opinion. :winking: The woman referee last year who gave that stupid goal consulted with the lines-man because she did not have a clear view of the goal. It was a stupid decision, but she was following the rules by consulting with the assistant who was the one who said he did have a view of it. They were both wrong and rightly banned, but the man was wrong as well, more so because he had a better view. As usual, don't let facts get in the way of a good sexist rant though. oh, but you're probably only joking. ah ... hilarious. She was just asking the linesman if her bum looked big in her shorts tbh. Mmm, just noticed something. Ref's assistant getting a tongue lashing snoopy.gif from Mike Newell was called "Amy Rayner". "Toon Amy" is defending her(self)? damn!! well does it? ... does my bum look big in those shorts? :winking:

thank you! I know you lads are only joking like, but it does get a bit tired after a while. So I had to say something.

I would but if that's the kind of response I'll get I think I'll keep my money.

Aren't you missing training this morning?
-
Aye, that's why you said publically you wouldn't renew his contract, don't want to be the one to shoot bambi, then shot him. The only reason you have a relationship with Sir Bobby is guilt over his illness. :wullie:

I agree. I don't think we've had that much trouble attracting players, not for the prices we've paid anyway. I think the whole article is full of lies but I just wanted other peoples opinions on it.
