Me too. Leicester is the club linked.

Could this be our raid on the Belgian market? Of course a French player and not a Belgian!

Get French Football@GFN_France15m CONTACT: We understand that Newcastle have made a fresh enquiry over the availability of Standard's William Vainqueur. #NUFC #Standard

IF it is true, how much he would cost? I wonder if we inserted a clause!?
-
Much prefer Demba and his exploding knee to Carroll!
-
Then he can just come back here. Heard he already is. Even though Ba and Cisse cannot play together we were far better with him around.
-
I wonder how wor Demba will do. I guess not very well as Mourinho will no doubt be splashing the cash.

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-united-targeting-celtic-midfielder-4039475 Full article now up: Newcastle United targeting Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama 2 Jun 2013 08:30 Newcastle United are back on the trail of Celtic's 21-year-old Kenyan midfield enforcer Victor Wanyama Share on print Share on email Victor Wanyama Newcastle are back on the trail of Celtic’s midfield enforcer Victor Wanyama. Sources close to the Scottish champions told the Sunday Sun that the 21-year-old Kenyan’s agent has been working towards getting his £8million-rated player a move to the Premier League – with St James’ Park his preferred destination. Arsenal have been closely watching Wanyama, man of the match in both of Celtic’s European games against Barcelona, as have Everton. But we understand Newcastle are in prime position to make a move for a player they first courted 18 months ago. Cheick Tiote looks to be on his way out of St James’ Park, with a move to Lokomotiv Moscow in the pipeline, so Alan Pardew needs to find a replacement. And Wanyama, who cost £900,000 two years ago from Beerschot FC in Belgium, would be an ideal fit into the United midfield. Alan Pardew’s No 1 target remains Wigan’s James McCarthy, but the £15m price tag on the Ireland international may be the stumbling block.

Cabaye to PSG for a mere £15m in the Daily Star too. Not enough obviously and apparently Ashley's favourite player. If they threw in Sakho and/or maybe Gameiro plus cash I would personally consider it.

Would be great but not sure if we would stand a chance.

25 years old, seems to have been constantly out on loan to ligue 2 sides since 2009 and even then barely played He's free though, innit? The new Amalfitano? I wonder if he will go back to France - seems he has no future here.

Christian Atsu (Ghanaian winger) from Porto mentioned several times on Twitter.

Wouldn't be averse to signing Kone from Wigan alongwith another forward. Maybe Bony to make it a double Ivorian capture? We always leave it late regarding transfers which is always frustrating although I hope we get some business done early this time.
-
Why do people still follow him? And why does he bother?
-
Poor buggers never stood a chance.
-
Yet again no MOTD. Would have liked to have seen the 5-5 but can't be bothered after another limp effort.
-
There had better not be a lap of honour/appreciation etc. No point.

Three consecutive home defeats without a goal.
