  1. I'm sure Senegal are tough and physical to play against and most international teams have advanced a lot tactically in recent years but this Netherlands team...just no fluidity at all. FDJ is a classy player but there's not much else there. Shame, they used to be one of my favorite international teams to watch. Loved the Euro 88 team and also the Euro 2000 team with Seedorf, Davids, Overmars and Kluivert was pure class.
  2. I agreed with that part, I was just saying De Ligt is poor and Botman easily should be in there over him. Think we're mainly arguing a similar point.
  3. Ake has played quite a bit this season, probably deserves his place. VVD has been crap all season but has the history to back up his inclusion. De Ligt is shite, Botman should be in ahead of him, it's just daft and probably mainly because he plays for Juventus. Botman may lack experience but is one of the most in-form CBs in one of the toughest leagues, no brainer he should be there.
  4. Watching De Ligt lumber about, can't escape the feeling that Botman is only not here because he doesn't yet play for a CL side
  5. What a joke. Maguire bear-hugged to the ground first half. Fuck off with this inconsistent shite man.
  6. Lovely finish Rashford. I hate how Grealish is always involved in celebrations yet hardly ever does anything. So lucky to be in the position he's in. Twat.
  7. I'd give Foden half an hour and rest Tripps Edit - two separate changes obviously, not Foden at RB
  8. Man is there a player in the world who can kill a pass stone dead like Tripps? Unreal man
  9. Be class watching this showpiece in person, then heading back to the 175 quid a night greenhouse to get baked in a puddle of sweat again.
  10. Felix Sanchez looks like if you took Tyson Fury, shrunk him down and spliced him with Steve Stone
  11. Voted Tripps also. Tough because I love so many equally. Schar and Botman are the best CB partnership i've ever seen. Bruno is priceless, Wilson one of the best 9's we've ever had and the redemption arcs of Miggy and Joelinton are without parallel. Tripps though man, he basically started the revolution on the pitch in the sense that he was the first and trusted the club leadership (which was still a skeleton at the time) to deliver on some pretty hefty and lofty promises. He brings unreal quality, spirit and leadership and was the catalyst for a lot of what we're seeing. I don't think it's the same if he didn't sign.
  12. I credit shocking Leeds defending and jammy deflected goals more than anything but aye, they don't stop
