  1. I genuinely feel sorry for you mate!!, Sounds like a tramp begging for scraps of food My only chance to see the whole game unfortunately, if that makes me a tramp so be it. How come all the other yanks got to see it live then!? Couldn't tell you, wasn't shown at all in my area (Connecticut) either live or taped which is unusual. Can't speak for other areas of the US or other cable companies schedules.

  3. I'm exiled in the USA, this game wasn't televised live or on tape delay either, all I got to see were brief highlights on a Premier League review show on Fox Soccer Channel. If I can get this game and sample the atmosphere, then i'm all for them releasing a DVD.
  4. Barca v Inter - a classic exposition of diving around, time wasting, feigning injury and incompetent refereeing. Busquets should be ashamed of his play-acting but of course the end justified the means right? As usual the hopeless, letter-of-the-law referee falls for the bullshit hook line and sinker. This match perfectly sums up why football in the last 5 - 10 years has gone down the tubes. Just a big pile of cynical bollocks.
  5. Banana skin game for our unbeaten home record if ever there was one. These lads are steaming towards the play-offs, hopefully the Toon will have their minds on the game and not the beach.
  6. This is why I can't stand hearing about the effort he puts in. The amount of times last season where a winger would be looking to put a cross in while his "striker" was stood in the centre circle scratching his arse was disgusting. He's a lazy useless arsehole who likes kicking people. Comfortably one of the worst players I've seen play for NUFC. Paul Kitson, Andreas Andersson, Albert Luque, all had ten times the goalscoring threat of this waster. Frank Pingel was better. Pretty sure he only ever scored once for us and it went in off his lug against Liverpool in 89...but at least he scored.
  7. Not Toon-related and not even a beautiful goal as such either but just for sheer drama...Michael Thomas at Anfield in May 89. Arsenal had to win by 2 clear goals to win the league, into injury time, leading 1-0, cue Brian Moore..."For Thomas, it's up for grabs nowwwwwwww.......THOMAS!!!!! right at the end.."...didn't like the Gooners even back then but that was some drama, I threw my cup of coffee aal ower the floor in all the excitement
  8. This smells like agent-driven bollocks to me tbh. It's pretty much common knowledge that Baines wants to stay in the North-West and play for Everton (reason given for turning down the Mackems). With them dragging their heels and trying to get him on the cheap, safe in the knowledge he wants to play for them, wouldn't suprise me at all if his agent or someone close to him put out a "Newcastle are interested" story to get Everton to hurry up and agree a fee so he can sign for them. Hope i'm wrong, would be a great signing in a position of desparate need.
