  1. Trossard scores, Brighton all over Chelsea, Silva cleared off the line twice in about 30 seconds prior to the goal
  2. Never ever understood booing at all. It's not a Punch and Judy show you entitled weirdos
  3. Totally agree. He may occasionally be a bit clumsy in possession if you want to nitpick one of his flaws, but you soon notice the difference in our midfield when he isn't there
  4. During the 95/96 season, as the stress got to me, I would point at my dog, say her name, followed by the name of the team we were playing that day and we just kept winning. I still do it now, I just point at a photo instead
  5. Saw extended highlights of Madrid game, cracker of a goal by Nkunku and Haidara seemed to have a canny game as well, wouldn't say no to him for our DM role
  6. And he's now worth at least that when he was on the verge of being given away for nowt after being Bruced.
  7. I want to quote this post verbatim every time I have to read or listen to some ill-informed tosser go on about money.
  8. Perfect example of why VAR is driving people up the wall, can't get an ounce of consistency out of it.
  9. Wasn't Conte the Chelsea manager when EH took Bournemouth there and howked them 3 nowt?
  10. What is it with West Ham and hand ball decisions? Isn't that 3 contentious goals in the past game and a half?
  11. Enjoy @HaydnNUFC hope we get the win with you in attendance
  12. The man learns his lessons. Spoke about it in the pre-match thread. He (or the players) got it completely wrong in this fixture a few months ago. Just knew he took every possible lesson from that and would apply it today, regardless of how the game turned out. He's methodical and intelligent and that's an understatement.
  13. Aye but we blew it by not appointing Gerrard instead.
  14. He's probably played more games, though I haven't checked. For a player who gets in the positions he does, he's crap in front of goal. See just the last 2 games for decent examples.
  15. Every once in a while their Amnesty International masks slip and they let it be known all they really care about is our failure on the pitch.
  16. That's the Rashford that can't score and falls to bits in the box every time? Abraham I can agree on. Think Wilson and Toney are pretty close honestly.
  17. Aye Woodgate was brilliant but the absolute epitome of late 90's/early 00s lad and drinking culture. Never looked after himself the way athletes do nowadays, hard to imagine Botman hanging off lampposts after 17 pints anyway.
  18. No wonder Maldini wanted him so bad. Well worth the long pursuit, incredible buy, huge character and a massive reason we currently have such a brilliant defensive record. Man, between Tripps, Bruno and this lad, we've managed to sign some brilliantly talented players but with huge character too.
  19. Oh and just by the way, we have conceded 10 in 12 having faced Man City, Liverpool (a), Man Utd (a) and Spurs (a). Incredible.
  20. You've been a rock of confidence in this thread, don't falter now
  21. Think we'll see every snide trick in the book second half like
