As a partnership they offer absolutely nothing going forward or protecting the back four. It's like playing with nine outfield players.
They aren't playing as a partnership though.
They're not hand holding in the centre, agreed. Anita is a bit further forward and in right midfield. I would say Colback is in Anita's natural position really and both offer nothing where they are being played. In fact, the entire midfield isn't really working, and I don't think it's a coincidence with both of them in it considering we saw it most of last season.
