  1. I think it's safe to assume that copy on the last page isn't, with Santon in the centre and Perch out right...
  2. Santon right back, Fergie left. I quite like this team, although strange to see some European regulars missing altogether (Tav, Marv, Gosling, Amalfitano).
  3. Give over. They're giving a very fair account of themselves and look quite dangerous on the break. Do you expect them to take the game to Barcelona? No, I expect them to not just boot it out of play Can't say I've found them overly negative or cynical. They're containing Barcelona far better than I imagined them capable of.

  5. Fraser Forster keeps pulling them saves..
  6. Great save Fraser to deny Messi from 2 yards out..
  7. The whistle goes before the challenge and in plenty time for Tiote to avoid the challenge. We may be talking about hundredths of seconds but still plenty time to pull out if he'd wanted too.
  8. How is it a red "by the letter of the law"? Raised his hands? Absolutely. It isn't red by the letter of the law. That post show no knowledge of the rules. Howay then, enlighten me. He raised his hands and made contact with the player, above the chest, in an aggressive manner. I haven't read the referee's comprehensive rulebook but as far as I can remember that results in a red card, no matter how petty or pathetic the contact is. What? He got sent off for a late tackle on Fletcher. What were you watching? It speaks volumes for the alleged recklessness of the actual 'tackle' (i.e. the bit he did with his foot) because I thought the red card at the time was because he led into the tackle with his hands up and struck the guy in the face. What were you watching when you watched it back a few times, as you claimed to have done on p 448?
  9. It's this bit where the ref clearly shows a complete inability to understand football, coupled with the late whistle and the fact it was one move from getting fouled to challenging for the 50/50 with Fletcher. It may not have been very smart by Tiote, but I just don't believe he went into that challenge with any malicious intent. This is just how he plays; he gives 100% all the time, in every challenge, and I love him for it.
  10. 52 including bonus points. Captain Van Persie saves me from a truly awful round.
  11. Funny, I felt he was more subdued than normal, like he somehow wasn't fully confident in his own ability.
  12. Can't believe the mackems are getting a point from his match. They've created fuck all despite being two men up for over 70 minutes..
  13. Agree with this unfortunately.. Not sure Colo can stop Ba heading it into his own net like. If anything Saylor/Williamson are the best in the air. We panicked in defense as soon as he went off. No coincidence.
  14. How's that not a yellow for dissent then, seeing as Tiote got it last week.. No bookings for Sunlun this afternoon. Aye..
  15. So now the fuckers have finally woken up. They can fuck right off with their so called support..
